Hi There,
I'm in a state of panic as my site has been progressing well however today I log into Moz and see the DA drop by 12 ! this has never occured and was increasing nicely over the last few months.
Does anyone know if there has been a global change that may be effecting my site. Or any issues with Moz DA tool?
Any help is greatly appreciated

I was so confident ours would increase been working so hard sad times all around

Thank Godness, we're not the only ones. We lost 8 points in DA and there was total panic since all in all, we had been gaining some fantastic links from very notable media sites and were looking forward to a higher ranking and then suddenly WHAM!.
Whew! this cheers me up.

Agreed, read Rand's post it explains it well. I just finished creating a spreadsheet of us and our competitors with their PA/DA scores and rank for our #1 term, which I will use as a measuring tool going forward. PA/DA is important, but not as much as your ranking.

Thanks for that Ria. Ill get to that post right now

Check out Rand's explanation of the huge fluctuations in DA/PA this month (https://mza.bundledseo.com/community/q/da-pa-fluctuations-how-to-interpret-apply-understand-these-ml-based-scores). He explains it rather nicely.
Always best to compare your DA score against your competitors', rather than against your historical scores alone. Causes less panic too! But yeah, it seems many websites are reporting huge drops in DA. Doesn't necessarily mean that your website quality/authority has decreased since last update.

If it helps it does seem a lot of competitors have significantly dropped as well in DA score. Someone please tell me there is an issue with the tool

Can links tracking lists help to crawl high authority backlinks by Moz?
My backlinks are not crawling by Moz yet after creating them four months ago. I have just added them in the links tracking lists now. May these links tracking lists help to crawl these backlinks by Moz? I have created same backlinks for my another site. But it has crawled by Moz within 10 days. This site is EditorialGE. But the same backlinks of my another sites are not crawled my Moz yet. Even my guest posts' links are not crawled by Moz yet which are created about two months ago. So, I have submitted them to links tracking list. Can links tracking lists help to crawl those high authority relevant backlinks ba Moz? Please let me know.

Domain Authority drop due to Moz update?
Hi guys, I have noticed an unusual Domain Authority (DA) drop in mid November for many different websites here in Sweden. There was a Moz update the 12th of November which I assume has to do with this drop. I have attached the DA history chart to visualize the drop. Does someone have any information about: Did the drop in DA have to do with the update the 12th? Did the new update have a new type of metric calculation? Is anyone else experiencing this drop? Any extra details would be helpful. Thanks a lot guys. YLhKVwF.png

Checking DA, MozTrust and MozRank for 390K domains.
Hello Guys, I've a list of of 390K domains which will be available to register until 02/22. Those are expired domains and they are all available at 10.59USD each. I want to check all domains for DA, mT and mR. hahaha 😛 Any suggestions? If any good soul with a API subscription wanna try it, if we find any gems on those domains, I can share, 3 to 1. 3 for the person using the API and 1 for me. Anyway, I'm just trying. 😄 Thanks 🙂

Moz crawl error? DA & Linking domains significant drop.
Hi guys! Our site www.carwow.co.uk appears to have been punched in the face by the latest Moz update. It's claiming our #linking root domains has dropped from 225 to 135 and has subsequently hit our DA from 38 to 35. We haven't disavowed any links and our off-site strategy has been going well the past 2 months. Search performance has increased by around 15% (around 5k sessions) and rankings have improved week on week. Any idea if this is a Moz error? That's almost a 50% drop in linking root domains. Thanks, James

Domain authority for a new site
Hi we a starting a new web which will be optimised for key words. What can we expect in terms of Domain authority when it comes to starting a brand new website? We will be devoting quite a significant amount of money in our AdWords campaign budget to promote the site and the products.
