Domain Authority and PageRank Aren't Meshing
-
I'm seeing a very large discrepancy between the domain authority for a site I'm tracking and the PageRank. According to PageRank Checker the PageRank is "0". According to Moz, the domain authority is 57 and page authority for the domain below is in the 32. The domain is http://bwellness.massagetherapy.com/ Open Site Explorer shows 2 linking domains -- both have D.A. scores of 13.
Please explain the discrepancy. Thanks in advance.

Wow, you have a LOT of spam in your backlinks. Have you done a disavow or had a penalty with this site?
I think Peter adequately answered your question - PageRank isn't an accurate measure of anything - but keep in mind that DA & PA can be manipulated as well ... with a backlink profile like yours you will probably see a higher DA than you "deserve" because DA doesn't really take spam into account nearly as much as Google does.

If you have idea for Moz improvements - write them to [email protected]
I use all three products and each of them have some pros and some cons. If your situation you have huge domain with many subdomains. And you can't see whole domain. So you can suggest this to them.

Thank you Peter. I used Majestic Site Explorer and it was far more useful than Moz Open Site Explorer:
At the very top of the results, it states:
Would you like to switch to the entire massagetherapy.com domain? There are 164,851 external backlinks.
If only Moz were to add this !! It makes sense that this very small business is a subdomain of a much larger site and is thus inheriting the authority. The high Page Authority is still a bit baffling. Could be that the subdomain site is getting visits from domain level searches and links from other pages within the domain. Thanks!

PageRank isn't updated from December 6, 2013 and won't be updated in future. Please don't rely on this metric anymore.
https://www.seroundtable.com/google-next-pagerank-update-19902.htmlYou can use Moz DA,PA, MozTrust, MozRank. You also can use Majestic CF, TF; also Ahrefs URL rating, domain rating. Because all of them are updated least monthly. But comparing them with 2 years old data (PR) isn't fair.

Not existing domains linking to my website (spam)
Hello, When i run my platform www.taobao.nl through https://mza.seotoolninja.com/researchtools/ose/ i see a lot of nasty adult domains that link to my platform. These give a very negative (spam)score to my platform. I already disavowed quite a few via Webmastertools, but they keep coming. When i check the names in the Whois, they don't even seem to exist! (anymore) What could cause this and how can i end it?? Thanks for your help! Sander

Is there some way to tell the Moz crawler not to crawl URL's with particular dynamic tags such as "?redirect-to:http//" ?
We are encountering an issue where the crawler is finding a ton of pages from our wordpress login url that has this dynamic tag in it to kinds of different blog entries. It's madness. I can't figure out what is causing these URLs to generate to be crawled in the first place! Does this sound familiar to anyone out there, any constructive suggestions? Robots text or maybe meta robots tags that would resolve this crawl issue?

Why Moz doesn't offer tool similar like SEOprofiler Link Disinfection?
Hi Moz, As I have been your member & using pro tool for more than an year, it's been amazing experience working and using your each tool's function tool, wehther to check on-page grader, rank tracking, on-page crawling issue, keyword difficulty and the one my best for link analysis is Open Site Explorer etc. I came here to ask about something which I didn't find here than other providers is most popular Bad Link Detection Tool. As **SEOprofiler Link Disinfection **offers their customers to use this to get all of their bad or spammy links harming them to rank high or getting away from ranking goal. Let me know, are you planning anything similar to this to bring soon in your tools and provide your members to take benefits of such type function as well OR should i go to SEOprofiler for this? Best,

Is there an option that's more precise over Open Site Explorer?
I've had folks explain to me before that OpenSiteExplorer is just an estimation, etc. but there are some fairly easy statistics that seem to be different and it makes me nervous that either its wrong or I'm doing something wrong. As you can see in the image, moz isn't read social metrics correctly. It actually used to be pretty spot on, but as you can see with Google+'s its off. Maybe not a big deal right? But for my clients new Moz Analytic print outs it makes somewhat of a difference. Any help? UlwQs3w
