My domain as a sufix on GA reports
-
Hi,
There's a friend of mine who asked me with some weird results on her sites' Google Analytics reports (http://esther-roche.es).
I've searched the GA code and its GA account config and I've no clue about where this esther-roche.es is to remove it.
Any idea?
Thanks in advance,
-
I got it!
I think you are totally right
Thanks a lot.

A likely candidate for this issue is the 'default page' setting. You can find it in the 'View Settings' for your GA view.
You'll see a field there for the website URL, which of course should be something like "http://esther-roche.es". If you also see the domain name in the 'default page' field, remove it from there. For this particular website, it appears that the default page field should be left blank.

Hi,
I'll check it ASAP.
I added the attachment on my original message.
Thanks in advance,

It's almost impossible to say without a screenshot, but there's most like a filter applied that's causing this. Go to Admin > View > Filters and comb through the list of filters looking for one involving the 'hostname' field.

We setup a new Google Analytics account for the new domain but the old one is still there
Hi, Our company has changed their domain almost a year ago and after the migration, they created a new Google Analytics account rather than changing the address on the existing GA account. Now I can still see that Google indexing the old domain. Just wanted to ask if we can still tell Google that we've changed the domain on the old one? Or, should we just go ahead and use the new one and delete the old one? Very confusing, but our traffic is constantly dropping although we rank for on the first page for tracked keywords, just want to understand if there is a connection between the organic traffic droppings and not telling Google we've changed the domain. Thanks! NJt7vbJ

Organic reports showing a URL that isn't in Search Ask Question
In the image I've attached you can see that I have pulled a source/medium > google organic report. I've also made "landing page" my secondary dimension. The first landing page that is showing up is /v3/?slug=fnl, that is this page (https://orders.freshnlean.com/v3/?slug=fnl). You can see that the page has 230 sessions from Sep 3 - 9 and 17 transactions during that same time frame. The only thing is, that landing page is nowhere to be found in the SERPs. So how is it showing up in this report as having received google organic visitors that converted if it's not even in search? 05OclDp

Linked my adwords account to GA and vice versa and still paid search is getting recorded into organic traffic??
Hi Mozzers, I have linked properly my adwords account to GA and vice versa and somehow I can see 3/4 of this paid traffic recorded to organic search. The most confusing part is that I can see 1/4 of the paid traffic under the "paid" metric. At this point I don't know really what should I do? Thank you guys in advance!

Is there a way to calculate Domain Authority and Domain Trust on a large scale?
Hi there! Since on of our websites is hit by the Penguin update I'm trying to find spammy and low quality external links from our domain. I'm using Xenu to get all the external links. Now I want to know about the quality of the external websites our domain links to. Is there a way to calculate domain authority and domain trust on a large scale in Excel or Google spreadsheet? Kind regards, Mark
