Hi Team,

Thanks for the answer:)

Submitting your sitemap gets Google the crawl your site faster, but your site will be crawled sooner or later whether you do or not.
-
But i didn't submit the sitemap in to Google webmaster. Then how it is getting indexed.?
-
Hi Anoop! It looks like your site seems to be indexed now: http://www.screencast.com/t/pFNk0nVsZH

From past experience using twitter can help: tweet the url and then get it retewwet with another twitter account and from what we´ve seen it helps in google getting a site indexed
-
In addition to to above i would suggest you to make sure your robot.txt file does not have home or index page as that could be the other reason that Search engines do not index the site.

Thank You for your response

Have you quite literally just made it live? if so you it could take a while to naturally index. I would suggest ensuring that your site is linked up to Google Search Console where you can perform a crawl of your site and also submit a sitemap of all your new pages. This should help Google to index your site much sooner. Also ensure that your robots.txt or meta robots are being followed to ensure site crawlability.
Unfortunately, there is no instant way for your site to be shown, it will take a little time especially if it is brand new. Also do not forget if you are in a competitive niche it could also take time for your to rank higher than your competitors.
I would also suggest setting up all your local site links from yelp, google maps etc and further social links from facebook, twitter etc to help get your name out there. This can help https://mza.seotoolninja.com/local/search
Hope that helps.
Cheers
Tim

Site:www.domainname.com - does not find homepage in Google (only inner pages - why?)
When I do a Google search on site:www.domainname.com, my clients homepage does not appear. Other inner pages do. The same thing happend a while ago and I did 'fetch by google' in Search Console. After that the homepage was indexed again when I did a site:www.domainname.com search. But now (2 weeks later), it's gone again. When I search on the brand name of the website in Google it does find the homepage. I don't know why it doesn't find the homepage when I do a site: search. Any ideas? If I want clean up my URLs and take the "www.site.com/page.html" and make it "www.site.com/page" do I need a redirect?
If I want clean up my URLs and take the "www.site.com/page.html" and make it "www.site.com/page" do I need a redirect? If this scenario requires a 301 redirect no matter what, I might as well update the URL to be a little more keyword rich for the page while I'm at it. However, since these pages are ranking well I'd rather not lose any authority in the process and keep the URL just stripped of the ".html" (if that's possible). Thanks for you help! Many Errors on E-commerce website mainly Duplicate Content - Advice needed please!
Hi Mozzers, I would need some advice on how to tackle one of my client’s websites. We have just started doing SEO for them and after moz crawled the e-commerce it has detected: 36 329 Errors – 37496 warnings and 2589 Notices all going up! Most of the errors are due to duplicate titles and page content but I cannot identify where the duplicate pages come from, these are the links moz detected of the Duplicate pages (unfortunately I cannot add the website for confidentiality reasons) : • www.thewebsite.com/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=233&products_per_00&products_per_2&products_per_2&products_per_2&page=2 • www.thewebsite.com/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=233&products_per_00=&products_per_00&products_per_2&products_per_2&products_per_2&page=2 • www.thewebsite.com/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=233&products_per_00=&products_per_00&products_per_2&page=2 • www.thewebsite.com/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=233&products_per_2=&products_per_00&page=2 • www.thewebsite.com/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=233&products_per_00&products_per_00&products_per_00&products_per_00&page=2 With these URLs it is quite hard to identify which pages need to be canonicalize. And this is jsut an example out of thousands on this website. If anyone would have any advice on how to fix this and how to tackle 37496 errors on a website like this that would be great. Thank you for your time, Lyam

Link removal from search rank checking sites
I'm going through the link removal process for unnatural links to a site. While I'm able to identify the obvious link profile and seo-article links that Google wants removed, what should we do about the links that are generated by the various seo link investigation and ranking services? Example: http://www.seoprofiler.com/analyze/allamericanfencing.com This site (seoprofiler) automatically creates these links to web sites when it generates its reports. Are those links that need to be removed or disavowed, or will Google not care? I want to err on the side of caution, but don't know how to treat these types of pages. The site didn't ask for or lobby for those links, so it's "natural" in that sense, but they're not editorially earned either (except for happen to be ranking for a similar term). Does anyone have experience on this aspect of the unnatural link grooming process?

Should this site start again on a new domain
Hi We have not done SEO on this site they have used another company who looks like they outsourced and the links have been built by a third party all blog networks and this company have said they cannot get the links removed. Google flagged artificial links on this web site in February and in April it lost over 10000 visitors in a month and its just free falled ever since. The categories have been recreated and no redirects created due to the amount of backlinks from the blog sites to the original category pages but the site is not recovering its down to 1500 visitors a month and used to get 14000 a month. So should my customer ditch the domain and move this site to fresh domain? http://www.kids-beds-online.com Any answers would really be appreciated. thanks Tracy

Profile pic and Google profile appearing in search results
Do a Google search for: opensiteexplorer . The 2nd (may vary) result is an seoMOZ blog post, "Brand New Open Site Explorer is Here (and Linkscape's Updated, too)". Google is displaying Rand's pic and google profile link in the search result. How? Can't find the Google profile link in the seoMOZ page source.
