If it's the bounce rate and not the website or landing page visits, then it's your content. You need to rewrite or reword your content so it's more engaging and interesting. Structure it so the most important, interesting information is in the first paragraph, but leaving them wanting more. You should also be making sure that each one of your Facebook posts accurately describes what's on the page. If you feel like you have to jazz up the description on Facebook, chances are the copy itself won't keep anyone's attention.

Facebook is tricky. You might try a few things that we have found useful.
- Change your Facebook post type mix. On the insight page, you can see what your mix is and they offer data on other post types.
- I think the book Jab Jab Jab Right Hook by Gary Vaynerchuck is great. Basically, give, give, give, ask. Don't try to drive traffic and goal conversion on EVERY SINGLE Facebook post.
- Don't send traffic to front page. You might try a squeeze page or direct to a page you are talking about. In general, the user should find what they clicked to find. If users click to see funny kitty pics, they better see funny kitty pics.

Facebook 'SEO', Likes and Fans
I spent a bit of time this morning combing Google looking for some documentation on SEO for Facebook, specifically the value of 'likes', when liking one's status, how that effects the visibility of a given post and basically the criteria for creating whatever they deem a post to have gone 'viral'. I'm convinced there has to be some answers for my first two questions... ....somewhere. Likewise, I can appreciate if there's nothing available to answer my third question pertaining to 'viral criteria'. Nevertheless, if anyone has any resources/documentation that could provide me some insight into how FB interprets 'likes', how an increased number of 'likes' may lead to greater visibility and (more or less) the mechanics of how this interacts with the entire Facebook structure, I would greatly appreciate it. Facebook pages invites via email
Hi Within Facebook business admin there is an option to email your contacts to invite them to like your page. Has anyone done this? and would sending this invite request out to your mailing list of subscribers be allowed in Facebook or would it be seen as spamming? even though they have opted in to recieve communications/news/offers from the company?

I have following Facebook fan page and want vistastores username which is my domain name. But, I am not able to get it due to my personal profile. Fan page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Vista-Stores/160667877282170 Personal profile: http://www.facebook.com/vistastores I am thinking to delete my Facebook account. [Profile & Fan page] Then, I will re-open my Facebook account and create fan page. So, Can I transfer my username from personal profile to fan page by this method?

Moderate blog comments Yes/No? Facebook comment plugin?
I was reading outbound marketing and they suggest that a good blog "does not" moderate comments. I have always taken the moderate approach, but their thought was this inhibits a conversation from taking place on the blog. I am wondering what thoughts others may have on this and its potential positive and negative impacts, both SEO and in general. Also I am thinking about using a Facebook plugin with my blogposts. I think this may be a good way to help get social visibility... Has anyone tried this yet?
