Can i Force opensiteexplorer to crawl a url?
-
Hello.
I check the QA and didnt find an answer to this.
I've check one link on my site which is indexed by google but not by mozopensite explorer. If i search the url i find it on google but not i nopen site explorer.
This only means that open site explorer havent find it. IF google index that page this means i'm getting the juice? My question is if google index a page for sure it follow one of the links (follow link).
This is importan for me since this is my best DA link, probably a game changer for us.
Also, Is there a Way to force opensiteexplorer to crawl this page?
Thank you.

Hello Francisco,
I don't think that there is a chance to get only re-crawl your requested page.
Mozcape works different than Google. It gets updated once a month or so. Here more about Mozcape updates. Next update is 9 of August.
Regarding the linkjuice, if google indexed that page, is very likely that you're getting it. But, as Moz's OSE concerns, it might appear next update or in some future update.
In the case that links is a game changer, you'll be noting that change shortly.Hope it clears your doubt
GR.

URL column of Link Explorer reports do not have the protocol (http or https)
I exported from Link Explorer. In the URL column, there is no protocol for each URL. Isn't the protocol part of what makes a url? I'm crawling each with http:// and https:// but it feels like this info could just be in the report. Am I missing a step?

Open Site Explorer -> Just Discovered -> Internal Links: Only shown 1 url link per day
Hi, We have a page that have like 10-15 new content/pages per day.
Link Explorer | | Inspiringinterns
eg. domain.com/post-id-01/, omain.com/post-id-02/, omain.com/post-id-03/ etc
But somehow, under Just-Discovered, internal links only show 1 per day when it suppose to display like 10-15.
The layout for each pages is exact same except for the content changes and the url's ID changes. Our competitor on the other hand, they have like 5 new page per day, but somehow Moz shows their internal links as 25 per days. Each of their new url have 4 more prefix number.
Eg:
new-page-01?track=990
new-page-01?track=991
new-page-01?track=992 etc
The above example url is technically as 1 page if without the "?" affix. Whiles all our new pages/url have unique id, but Moz only show 1 a day. Please advise on how to get Moz to shows all the new pages in Just-Discovered (internal link). Thanks, Cam0 -
Spam Score and crawling of my site
Hello, I'm trying to analyze the spam score of my site which is 9/17 Actually I have few backlinks and all of them have a low spam score (max 4/17, just one). I think there's some kind of issue with the crawler since I get strange spam factors: Large Site with Few Links (likely true, I recently deleted a lot of tags used once) Low Number of Pages Found (wasn't it a "Large Site"??) Low Number of Internal Links (I got a considerable number) No Contact Info (I have a link to my facebook in the menu and a "contacts" page) Thin Content (It's just a blog with min 300 words per post, why thin?) Site Link Diversity is Low (likely true) Ratio of Followed to Nofollowed Subdomains (likely true) Low MozTrust or MozRank Score (true) Ratio of Followed to Nofollowed Domains (likely true) Can you please help me to understand it, is it a crawling problem or similar? If needed I will post the url of the website. Thank you so much Marco

Moz cannot crawl domain. Also OSE does not work properly on this specific domain?
Hi all, Moz cannot crawl the domein http://www.hoesjescases.nl.
Link Explorer | | Guapa_zwolle
When I open the crawl report I only see one line: <colgroup><col width="229"><col width="287"><col width="420"><col width="370"><col width="141"></colgroup>
| URL | Time Crawled | Title Tag | Meta Description | HTTP Status Code |
| http://www.hoesjescases.nl | 2015-10-05T12:20:48Z | 404 : Received 404 (Not Found) error response for page. | Error attempting to request page; see title for details. | 404 | Also when running OSE on this domain, Moz only can find 4 root domains while Majestic can find 91 domains. Google seems not to have any problems. What can be the problem for MOZ? Greetings!0 -
Spam score question on shortened URLs
Hello, Our agency owns a URL, thejoint.co, specifically for url shortening. There is no content on this url. When we post client's content to social media channels, we use the shortener which 301s to the normal URL. Now, when I use Moz Open Site Explorer to view a client's webpage (http://chiropractorphoenix-thejoint.com/scottsdale/shea/ or chiropractorglendaleca-thejoint.com), I see thejoint.co with a spam score of 9. I'm looking for clarification if this is a real problem in regards to my clients website health? If so, is there any way to keep the shortner without the negative effects? Thank you, P.S. Does this mean Moz's Spam tool also recognizes Bit.ly and other similar services as spam?
