I want to check the keywords position of the entire site just by giving the site URL. Is there any way ?

If you have a webmaster tools account this can show information on keywords that drive traffic to your website, although the site page placement is not always accurate.

Webmaster Tools Average keyword position

Hello! For the last month i have notices a drastic change in Avg.position for a keyword on my clients site http://livoart.lv keyword: "kapu pieminekļi". According to webmaster tools it went from 13 to 4-2. The problem is that in orgranic search i keep seeing the keyword on the second page and the CTR of the keyword did not change at all. Why would webmaster tools show false data?

Gets traffic on both domain.dk and domain.dk/default.asp

Hi. Im runnning a couple of sites. And in my analytics/webmastertool I get both traffic on domain.dk and domain.dk/default.asp which are both essentially the same page. I'm pretty sure it would be better, if I somehow could make the default.asp "redirect" to "/". I dont wanna loose the linkjuice thou. Any smart suggestions for an easy fix? /Kasper

Can't seem to rank for keyword "home care grand rapids" - need some advice

I am trying to rank for "home care grand rapids" and am having a really difficult time. My site: http://healthcareassociates.net has better backlinks, keywords and other seo markers than my competitors but I still can't seem to rank. The keyword and associated keywords (home care grand rapids michigan, home health care grand rapids, etc.) are only 31-33% difficulty and my site/page rank is better than the leading sites. What gives? Todd

What keywords are called conversion keywords? how do you track them ?

I have tried more than 200 keywords to optimize Akshaya Patra website, but i am finding it difficult to analyzie the lead /convesrion keywords to rank our website at the top of search results. Why is it when i don i keyword research here that it says data not available?

Why is it when i do keyword research that with all the keywords it says data not availabe. It all are keywords with high search volume at least a few of them. I am also looking in the right search engine google.es and when i go to google keyword tool it gives numbers as well. CAn somebody tell me what i am doing wrong? remco | Local Search

If I change the URL of a page, but the old page canonicalizes to the new, do I need to change my Analytics goals to get data?

I changed the URLs of some pages recently (because the same thing that affects the internal anchor text also affects the URL - grr...) but considered it not a big deal because even if I looked at the source code of the old URL, the canonical tag was now pointing to the new one. The question is - if I had URL destination goals set up for those URLs in Google Anlaytics, do I now have to change them? Or does Google somehow know that anyone getting to the new URL is the equivalent of someone getting to the old URL because of the canonical tag that exists on the old URL source code? I still do see goal conversions for some of the old URLs even since I changed them - but it could be that people are still somehow finding the old URL somewhere - or that Google only reindexed it a week or so after I made the change. Is 10 Keyword Targets for Page Rank too many?

My client has selected 10 keywords that they want to rank on the first page of Google for. Is 10 keywords too many to try and rank for? I have heard that you should focus on top 5 keywords instead.
