Ranking History - different to my actual

Hi
Little confused with the ranking report on a campaign. www.google.co.uk I am position 1 for "web development company". On the ranking report I am not in the top50. Last update was on the 18th Jan.
How current is the ranking report as my other ranking software (Rank Tracker) is a little more upto date?

Thanks for the question. Your rankings do look accurate in my searches. To touch on Gordon and Matt's points, It's generally best practice to set the campaign domain off of what you're ranking for. In your case, you're ranking for your sub (www) and have the campaign set for sub so you're ok there. Also, there are many factors generally in play for search results. You'll want to set a browser in incognito or privacy mode when you're conducting searches for comparative purposes. You usually won't see an exact match in ranking data since we update once a week vs once a day or more for the engines, but you'll usually be within a couple spots of our report.

Is that a signed out, no cookies search giving you #1?
As I've just searched Google UK and can't find you in the first 10 pages, so it seems the ranking report is about right.
If you were ranking and have suddenly dropped, how's your link profile? Amy messages in Webmaster tools?

I am pretty new to the tools, so it could be my lack of understanding. However its set to my root domain. I know that it went to P1 on or around the 15th Jan the campaign shows last update 18th. So could the results be a week old?

Is this a new problem or has it only just arisen? Was it tracking correctly over the past couple of weeks.
If this is a new campaign then in could be that you are tracking your subdomain and not the root domain in your campaign... worth a check. If it is wrong, you'll need to tear it down and start again.

Recovering rankings after a botched url change
Hi there, I have for a long time had a bicycle maintenance website at madegood.org. Over the years the film branch of this business has taken off and moved in a slightly different direction, so I thought in March I decided to move madegood.org to madegoobikes.com, and create a new website for my film business at madegood.com. I thought I did a good job of telling google about my change of domain, but my rankings completely died, so about a month I moved madegoodbikes.com back to madegood.org. So far I haven't seen any sign of a recovery in my rankings, I'm getting almost no visits. Competitor Ranks Highly Despite LOTS of Duplication
One of my Moz campaigns tracks my main competitor. I can't get over the fact that this competitor continues to rank well despite having thousands of duplication issues while I currently have less than 10. Our websites are similar both structurally and product-wise. The two images attached include OSE comparisons for the keyword "kraft envelopes". My competitor ranks #2 for the term, while I rank #9. I don't get why! And again, looking from a top-level perspective, MOZ shows that my competitor's website is full of duplication issues and other problems while my site is healthy as a horse. Keyword Rankings Compare to X not working
Anyone else having trouble with the compare your keyword positions with competitors section of the analytics? The rankings for my site(s) are fine but whichever competitor I click on to compare rankings to just returns 'Not in Top 50' the competitor is ranking. I have just manually checked and they are very much listed in the engine. Is this tool broken?

How can I create a keyword ranking report with a custom date range?
I need to see change since campaign inception, and would like the flexibility of other date ranges. (in a list form, not per keyword) Does Moz have a way to do this yet? This is the one feature I really need that Moz hasn't historically had. Can the API be modified for this? Would appreciate some feedback guys!

Why am I getting different ranking results on Google?
Because the rank checker on SEOMOZ is temporarily down for upgrade, I followed the link over to the other suggested rank checker on seobook.com which installs a plug-in to Firefox and it seems to be working fine….BUT my question is when I check out my two highest traffic keywords which are “Whitby holiday cottages” and “Whitby cottages” against my website www.endeavourcottage.co.uk it tells me I'm ranking position 2 on both Google.com and Google.co.uk but I don't think I am. When I do the same check using a proxy server called hidemyass.com to check my rankings again on Google.co.uk and .com I appeared to be lower down the rankings like position 8. Does anyone have any idea of which is the accurate reference to my rankings? What do you do to check your rankings ? And one last quick secondary question is when I searching Google chrome using same key words again I come at the top position A on the Google maps listing but using Firefox or Internet Explorer there is no Google maps visible ways that? At the end of the day out rankings are important but where are working towards more traffic...... Cheers

What is the easiest way to track historical ranking across keywords?
I could not find a way to look at past data dynamically via the SEOmoz interface which would be an amazing feature. For example, people able to change the time period like in Google Analytics to see past results. Has someone developed an excel template to keep track of this data historically if this cannot be done within SEOmoz itself?

External Followed Links History, number of links go down
I was reviewing Historical Domain Analysis and found that in last 2 month we lost almost 10000 external followed links. What this could be? is this real or just question seomoz crawling? 30voy1g.jpg
