Schema for restaurants and menus?
-
Hi all,
Anyone have experience with using Schema for restaurants other than the normal local business NAP? Is there a way to use Schema markup for food menus as well? Examples and schema code much appreciated
Thanks!

Hi Ricky,
If you look at Restaurant item on Schema.org you'll see that they have a property for menu.
Restaurant Property Info --> https://schema.org/Restaurant
They suggest either wrapping the entire menu with the itemprop="menu" tag or linking to it. Below is an example of a linked menu.
Fondue for Fun and Fantasy

Homepage organization schema question: logo lives on amazon server, can I call that out on the structured data?
Basically, the homepage organization schema has called out the logo, but it lives on the amazon server. We're having issues with Google rendering the correct logo on the knowledge graph. The URL for the amazon asset looks something like this: <brandname>-assets.s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/<logo>.png</logo></brandname> Calling that out on the organization structured data for the logo is okay right?

Travel site schema problems
I'm developing a travel site for my home state (Kansas - http://www.kansasisbeautiful.com though it's still has some development being worked on), but struggling to find scheme to work with for some items. So far my site is laid out by both region (northeast Kansas, western Kansas, etc.) and location types (waterfalls, parks, etc.). I'm currently working on coding in schema markup. I've found schema types for waterfalls, parks and landmarks, but I'm struggling to find anything for scenic drives (or highways, drives, anything related), hiking/biking trails and regions (northeast Kansas, southeast Kansas, etc.) The question I have is: What can I do to still try and put some kind of markup when there's nothing available that fits the item I'm trying to markup?

Schema question
Hi all, We have two Trustpilot schemas (Local Business) on our web pages ( One on desktop / one on mobile) but we are finding that it is not updating the number of reviews in the search results. When using the tool : https://developers.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/ , the test results are coming back ok. I have two ideas as to why it may not be working; 1) The duplication of the schema code is causing issues 2) We had to change the html code for all of our 50+ backend pages using a search&replace WordPress plugin to save a vast amount of time. Maybe this is plugin related? The fact that the google testing tool gives back positive results adds to the confusion. I test both of the theorised issues to see if it provides a fixes. Can anyone shed some further light on this issue? Is there something obvious I am missing? All responses are greatly appreciated! Thanks, Tom p.s. Schema - LocalBusiness markup for national companies
If we are marking up schema for a company that does services nationally, but has one physical location, should we use LocalBusiness for the organization type? It's an advertising company that is based in North Carolina, but services companies nationally. Thanks as always friends!

Schema.org Implementation: "Physician" vs. "Person"
Hey all, I'm looking to implement Schema tagging for a local business and am unsure of whether to use "Physician" or "Person" for a handful of doctors. Though "Physician" seems like it should be the obvious answer, Schema.org states that it should refer to "A doctor's office" instead of a physician. The properties used in "Physician" seem to apply to a physician's practice, and not an actual physician. Properties are sourced from the "Thing", "Place", "Organization", and "LocalBusiness" schemas, so I'm wondering if "Person" might be a more appropriate implementation since it allows for more detail (affiliations, awards, colleagues, jobTitle, memberOf), but I wanna make sure I get this right. Also, I'm wondering if the "Physician" schema allows for properties pulled from the "Person" schema, which I think would solve everything. For reference: http://schema.org/Person http://schema.org/Physician Thanks, everyone! Let me know how off-base my strategy is, and how I might be able to tidy it up.

Schema Embedded items Hierarchy
Marking up an attorney bio. Using: http://schema.org/Attorney http://schema.org/Person Hierarchy for Attorney is: Thing > Organization > LocalBusiness > ProfessionalService > Attorney Hierarchy for Person is: Thing > Person So, should I use: Larry Lawyer Firm: Law Firm Name Address: 742 Evergreen Terrace Or should Attorney be the top itemtype? Does it even really matter?
