I am trying to get rid of all of the junk/spammy links from a site. Problem I am running into is OSE is only showing 7 links and there are way more than that. Is there a reason for only a few links are showing? How would I go about seeing all the links so I can get rid of them?

If you have access to the site, verify it in Google and Bing webmaster tools and get the list of links from each of those sites. Bing will also give you links without being a verified site owner. Both are free.

Spam Score 8/17 with no inbound links. Any hints ?

Hi everyone, One of my client's website has a 8/17 Spam Score. (Domain Authority 18) Thing is, he has 0 inbound links (using Open site explorer) but he has 5 referring domains (when using Majestic). No error messages whatsoever in his Search Console. My questions are : what could explain that 8 Spam Score ? what can I do to lower that spam score (except disavow links in GWT) ? Thanks!

How to redirect my .com/blog to my server folder /blog ?

Hello SEO Moz ! Always hard to post something serious for the 04.01 but anyway let's try ! I'm releasing Joomla websites website.com, website.com/fr, website.com/es and so on. Usually i have the following folders on my server [ROOT]/com [ROOT]/com/fr [ROOT]/com/es However I would like to get the following now (for back up and security purpose). [ROOT]/com [ROOT]/es [ROOT]/fr So now what can I do (I gues .htaccess) to open the folder [ROOT]/es when people clic on website.com/es ? It sounds stupid but I really don't know. I found this on internet but did not answer my needs. .htaccess RewriteEngine On

Bad link profile?

Hi Mozzers! We have recently been handed this client due to the former SEO company building up a bad link profile, which resulted in the site dropping off the search results all together. Forcing them to get a new domain. This happened in July last year and we are unsure whether it would be wise to submit a reconsideration request and then 301 their old sites pages to the new domain. Basically I'm asking whether you can spot any spammy links being built in their profile. IP Indexing of MySQL with 80,000 links , help please

Hi There, We were just using one server for both Mysql & httpd server. The server's IP address was 207.36.90.69. Time to time the server couldn't handle the requests so we decided to get new servers in order to handle them. When i talk to my system engineer and software developer about this, they've suggested clustering our site http://goo.gl/ITNqs. So we moved our site http://goo.gl/ITNqs to the server (216.87.165.21) but we kept the old machine 207.36.90.69 to use as MySQL server and deleted all HTTP related files last year. Somehow google indexed 80K unnatural links from this old IP 207.36.90.69. We have received an unnatural links warning back in august and got a link related penalty on sept 28th. Our webmaster tools are showing that we have 80,000 link pointing to our site from the old server with only mysql on it. Can someone help us understand how google crawler indexed an IP with no http related files on it for almost a year, 10 months to be exact. Thank you

My old SEo company has a footer link by keyword to my site so it acts like a site wide link will this effect my rankings. My site was in the top 5 for many keywords now page 2 and 3 so I am trying to see what has effected it as we havent changed what we do

Forms and link juice

On product listing page on e-commerce site We use POST forms as 'Add To Cart' buttons. Because of that We have dozens (~40-80) forms on any product listing page, and two questions regarding them: Does these forms affect link juice of other links on the page? Are there cases when forms are somehow counted by Google as links? Regards, Lucek
