How does this company have more characters than allowed on Google Ads?
-
I thought this was weird and was wondering if anyone knows the answer to this...
I attached the image so you can see what I mean.
How does this company get away with having more characters than what Google Adwords allows? And why is there a "block ads from" thing underneath this ad, but not the others?
Sorry for the bad arrow, I'm on Windows XP lol
Thanks you
-
Oh really? I didn't know that, thanks
-
Hrm, then maybe this was just some sort of Google test based on your search history. Most normally, you see the "block this" text after immediately bouncing back to Google. I've seen this a lot with ads as well as serps.
-
No I dont think I did

Re: Block Ads
Did you go to the site first, then immediately bounce back? That's most normally when that message will appear.

Thanks for answering the first part That helps!

The title length question is easy enough - it's DSA (dynamic search ads.) They basically insert your search query into the title. http://www.google.com/ads/innovations/dynamicsearchads.html
I've seen some pretty long ones with DKI/DSA.
Not sure on the ad block question - I don't have that on any of my few test searches, even the obvious dynamic keyword ads.

Can Google shopping listings affect SEO rankings?
Hello everyone. Here is my question: Until 4 weeks ago we used to have just around 2,000 product/pages on Google shopping of our product pages, then we added over 40,000 more items/pages to it, and our Google natural search rankings dropped on most of our long-tail keywords pointing to the same product pages. Do you think that's just coincidence or could the number of products/pages on Google shopping affect natural search results?

Paid Search Visits Not Showing Up in Google Analytics
Hey all, Just took over SEM for my company, and noticed a bit of a problem with GA. Whereas Adwords has registered 141 clicks on paid campaigns that go to the site, GA has tracked only 5 vists in that time. Two things of note: The GA account was not linked to the Adwords account until today, and also, auto-tagging was not turned on. I understand these two things are important to having proper GA tracking, but I just want to make sure that there aren't any other things I should check right now to make sure I start to see tracked paid visits again. Is there anything else I should try? Cheers.

Why doesn't exact match appear to be working for me in Google AdWords tool?
Hi guys, I recently read Rand's article here and tried out the exact match symbols on my keywords. However, these don't appear to be working for me as the results aren't showing up as they do in the above SEOmoz article (attached screenshot). What am I doing wrong? Increasing Google Ad spend - is it worth it
Hi We are currently spending approx £500 pcm on google ad words however if I increased this spend to £4000 pcm what kind of results would this achieve? For example would it just be more visits per day as the budget is larger? Also what is the best way to track the success of an adwords campaign - the ultimate goal of the campaign would be to generate a lead whether this be a phone call, email or using our book an appointment form. Our service covers a geographical area (Scotland) and for organic search we are doing well 1st pages listings for searches such as pvc doors edinburgh etc so I am unsure whether it's worth increasing my PPC spend or put more resource into SEO, or even Facebook ads?

Google Remarketing Tag
Is the code snippet for a Google Remarketing Tag specific to one domain, or will it collect the audience list for any webpage(s) of any domain? Best,

Hi Mozers, I have question today. I see lot of Serps with rating review on the snippet, good i am reading on google about that, and i placed it on my website and i checked it, through google test tool and it works! My question is: Which type of rating system can i use on Google Adwords? Only shoping rating, or can i use the same rating system of my content and not on any product-shop on google? Can you tell me please! Thanks, Meti.
