Pros and Cons of using rel=next on blog posts
-
Hi there, at the bottom of my website's blog posts the rel=prev and rel=next tags are used on links that point to the previous article that was posted and the next article that was posted. Often these articles are not 'linked' in terms of their content or message.
Is this the correct use of rel=next/prev and if not what are the possible negative effects.
Many thanks.

I don't think that's the correct use of these tags. See here. Possible negative side effects are only the blog post considered as "page 1" would be indexed.
Pagination is for paginated content where one blog post or article is split up into several pages. In this case you'd want to send readers to page 1 usually. I would remove the tags. You can have links to the previous and next article for the user though.

The use of Markup language
Hi, We were thinking of adding markup language to our site. We have been reading about it to understand the actual benefits of doing so (we have seen many brands are not using it, including moz.com). So I have two questions: 1- Would you recommend using it for our site? www.memoq.com 2- If yes, would it be better to create a snippet of code for our home page as an "organization" and then different snippets for our product pages as "products". Looking forward to your comments,

How to Target Other Countries Using TLDs?
I would like to know if it is possible (and beneficial) to target other countries using country-based TLDs? When visiting a company website for instance, you often get redirected to your country's site. For instance, when you visit cafepress.com from Canada, you get redirected to cafepress.ca. Since both websites (cafepress.com and cafepress.ca) have the same content, how they get away with it with no duplicate content issues?

Using a non-visible H1
I have a developer that wants to use style="text-indent:-9999px" to make the H1 non-visible to the user. Being the conservative person I am, I've never tried this before and worry that Search Engines may think this is a form of cloaking. Am I worrying about nothing? And apologies if it's already been covered here. I couldn't find it. Thanks in advance!!!!

Comments in slider using display: none
What is the best way to get comments indexed that are hidden in a slider using display: none? For example: http://www.coupondudes.com/stores/kmart.com Click on "Add comment" Is there a way to do this without changing the design? If not, should we create a page per coupon with the comments shown. Will that pose duplicate content issues? 20110512-qg1ra18k9khdsqi6j3rkq4dfgb.jpg
