How to find if the Disavow Tool Submission was Processed?
-
We completed a Disavow Link Tool submission in 1/25. How can you tell if Google has looked at it, approved it or processed it?
Thank you!

I did not receive a message under my "Google Wembaster Tools" account for the Disavow Tool submission.
I noticed the screenshot you referenced was for a Reconsideration Request. I wasn't interested in sending a reconsideration request just yet and wanted to get the Disavow Link tool processed first. This is why I wanted to learn how to tell if the disavow tool submission was successful or processed. I would then send a reconsideration request. I had already submitted both at the same time once before only to get it declined. So made some adjustments and want to wait to send the reconsideration request this go around until the disavow link tool was successfully processed.

Hi Tamra,
After you have submitted your txt with the disavow tool, Google should send you an email once they've reconsidered your appeal to remove all the bad link. Google' never gives you an exact number of days it takes them to do things, but most of the time it is based on the number of bad links you have and etc.
I found a YouMoz article and Duke Tanson waited for 38 days before he received Google's email. Furthermore, even after they removed the links, it will still take time before their system updates to reflect your new status.

Check out the screenshot he attached at the bottom of his article.
Hope this helps.

Submitting pages to google to expidite them finding links to my site
Is it a good practice to submit a page linking to my site to expedite google finding the link or is it better to wait for the google spider to find it? Thanks, Ron!

Free Link Prospecting Tool
Hi All, I am seeking a truly free, not just free trial, but 100% free link prospecting tool beyond using search modifiers on Google. I am constantly trying to find new sites to do outreach to based on a set of relevant keywords in specific geographies and the process is becoming cumbersome. I really appreciate any tools or advice on how to scale finding quality sites that are relevant for my keywords.

To Disavow, or not?
Hi - I'm working on a site that has somewhere between 1200 and 1500 backlinks. Somewhere around 800 or 1000 of the links have one of four or five exact keyword phrases that this company paid a former seo to create links for. They ranked well for those phrases until last fall and then almost overnight they fell completely out of the first 50 SERP results. They did NOT receive a manual penalty. This leads me to two questions: 1. This sounds like they were hit by Penguin, rather than Panda. Do I have that right? 2. Is there any value in disavowing the 800 or so spammy links? Is there any danger in doing so? Thanks!

Where can I go to find the latest links to my domain?
I have checked the link analysis section and looked at link history. I have also checked Open Site Explorer but I can't seem to find a way to just show me the most recent links to my site . . .

Is there a tool to find out our website's link in some other website?
sometimes we know our site link is there on a site but the site is so big its hard to search manually. Is there any tool which can crawl the whole site and find the page having our site link ? though I know about OSE, and we can also see backlinks from webmaster tool. But still if you know any tool where instead of seeing the whole back link profile, we can add a specific url and see our site link in that url.

Forgot the name of a cool SEO Tool... Help!
I recently discovered a cool SEO tool. I didn't write it down, save it, bookmark, etc... And now I can't remember the name of the tool for the life of me, but I'd really like to use it again. I was hoping I could list of the features that I remember, and one of you Mozzers know what I'm talking about. It was a backlink analysis tool. It had a free version, and after you performed so many searches/searched so many backlinks, you had to pay. From what I remember it was a fairly nominal fee with the most popular package in around $25. The reason that I liked it so much was you could take an OSE csv file, dump it in there, and it would sort all of the links by link type, i.e, footer, comment, directory, etc... Then it would put it all into a nice pie chart for you and show you the % of the total links that each link type made up. It would also analyze the anchor text and would show you every anchor text used, and the % of the total each one made up.

Best Link Building technique using SEOMoz tools & Open Site Explorer
Hi, We've been with SEOMoz for a year or two now, but have have kept an eye out for productive link building tools to help the team. To be honest we're struggling with Open Site Explorer because, although it enables us to discover competitors links it doesn't provide much link management functionality. A simple example would be the ability for Open Site Explorer to show links to domains which my clients already have in a different colour, so that we don't waste time exploring dead ends. I'd be very interested to hear tips how other people use the SEOMoz tools to manage their link building as I suspect we may be missing a trick or two... Thanks in advance!
