Content change within the same URL/Page (UX vs SEO)

Context:
I'm asking my client to create city pages so he can present all of his appartements in that specific sector so i can have a page that ranks for "appartement for rent in +sector". The page will present a map with all the sector so the user can navigate and choose the sector he wants after he landed on the page.
Question:
The UX team is asking if we absolutly need to reload the sector page when the user is clicking the location on the map or if they can switch the content within the same page/url once the user is on the landing page.
My concern:
1. Can this be analysed as duplicate content if Google can crawl within the javascript app or if Google only analyse his "first view" of the page.
2. Do you consider that it would be preferable to keep the "page change" so i'm increasing the number of page viewed ?

Google can read dynamic content, so I would not do this. In terms of UX, why don't you come up with something really cool while the users are waiting? How many seconds do you need for the change? As a rule, I would keep the sections with their own content because Google can read dynamic content.

So by example, if the user is on the "New York" page that he clicks on the "Boston" location withing the app, is there any problem changing the content inside the New York page and propose all the boston location without changing the page to the Boston url but just by changing the content inside the New York page

I totally agree with what you're telling me. My plan is to keep the separate pages for every sector so I have my pages that rank for every sector. My question was more oriented on when the user is on-site for example on a specific location, is there any problem if the content change to a new location withing the web app without changing static pages.

Hello. You really need to have separate pages if you want to rank with all of them. Basically, think of the title for example. How do you want to index a specific region if you have only one page? How should googlebot understand that you have multiple content and which content/section to show if a person does a specific query? Escaped fragments could have been used in the past but it was not a great solution and it was discontinued (https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2015/10/deprecating-our-ajax-crawling-scheme.html). As such, I would try to provide separate pages with as much qualitative content as possible and with strong internal linking.

Page content not being recognised?
I moved my website from Wix to Wordpress in May 2018. Since then, it's disappeared from Google searches. The site and pages are indexed, but no longer ranking. I've just started a Moz campaign, and most pages are being flagged as having "thin content" (50 words or less), when I know that there are 300+ words on most of the pages. Looking at the page source I find this bit of code: page contents Does this mean that Google is finding this and thinks that I have only two words (page contents) on the page? Or is this code to grab the page contents from somewhere else in the code? I'm completely lost with this and would appreciate any insight.

Thousands of 404-pages, duplicate content pages, temporary redirect
Hi, i take over the SEO of a quite large e-commerce-site. After checking crawl issues, there seems to be +3000 4xx client errors, +3000 duplicate content issues and +35000 temporary redirects. If I want clean up my URLs and take the "www.site.com/page.html" and make it "www.site.com/page" do I need a redirect?
If I want clean up my URLs and take the "www.site.com/page.html" and make it "www.site.com/page" do I need a redirect? If this scenario requires a 301 redirect no matter what, I might as well update the URL to be a little more keyword rich for the page while I'm at it. However, since these pages are ranking well I'd rather not lose any authority in the process and keep the URL just stripped of the ".html" (if that's possible). Thanks for you help! Changing URL of posts
HI, I need to change the urls and permalink structure of my blogposts. How I have to deal all this with google? Do I have to re-submit the pages to google with fetch as google? Will google display duplicate content of the same article ( having changed the url) or will it automatically replace the old url with the new ones? Tx for your support guys!

Changing URL - Ranking Disappeared?
Hi All, I named a page URL /plectrums/ within the back end framework. But then decided to change it to /personalised-plectrums/ I resubmitted a GWT sitemap and 301 redirected plectrums -> personalised-plectrums My ranking for personalised plectrums has disappeared and has not come back does anyone know why this is? Post vs page in Wordpress?
Hello there, I have a Wordpress site and would like to know if it is better to have 600 posts or 600 pages in terms of efficiency in the site. I would like to publish the content as pages, as I can have subapges,etc... and keep the path: www.website.com/page/subpage1... in terms of good SEO. This structure of using pages rahter than posts allow me to keep the path as stated above (with a category/post path I could not manage in this sense as a pile of articles is displayed although the path category/post in terms of SEO I understand would be good too). Question about content on ecommerce pages.
Long time ago we hired a seo company to do seo in our website and one of the things they did is that they wrote long text on the category pages of our products. Example here: http://www.theprinterdepo.com/refurbished-printers/wide-format-laser-refurbished-printers Now my marketing person is saying that if its possible to put the text below the items, technically I will find out how to do it, but from your seo experience, is it good or bad? What about if we short those texts to one paragraph only? Thanks
