Quality Traffic - Terrible Results

Hello all,
I have been working hard on my SEO (and SEM) to the point where I'm getting plenty of traffic from my targeted keywords.
The only problem is that none of this people are becoming leads (the goal for our business).
Anything jump out about these pages in terms of how to get people more likely to get to the form page?

Thanks - that's very helpful. The chat problem was actually a bug I hadn't noticed, so very glad you pointed that out.
I am a big believer in A/B testing, but I haven't been able to truly move the needle yet. I will keep trying different options.
We're still working on organic (we're doing well on Tenant Submetering), I knew that we're getting targeted traffic from our Adwords.

There are many things you can try like using the form on the page itself (instead of the user having to click on "schedule demo" to get to the page of the form) also there is a small disconnect on the words used, so better would be to have the text on the action button under the form also using "schedule demo" rather than "submit".
You can use testimonials from authority clients in your niche to aid the credibility of the company / product. And therefore get users to more easily convert.
you also had a chat appearing asking me if i would like to receive a case study (good idea) but it disapeared when i visited another page and i couldn´t get it back to appear. you could keep it sticky and let users close it.
like i said there are many things you can do, but i didnt see any maior critical thing on your page, it´s many times also an issue of trying out several different approaches and AB test them. several companies have great advice on this https://blog.hubspot.com/marketing/high-converting-landing-pages or https://unbounce.com/101-landing-page-optimization-tips/ amongst others.
you also say you got a plenty of traffic of the keywords you are targeting, how are you actually monitoring this? Because for some of the main keywords you are targeting on those pages(like building solutions, submetering, building diagnostics, utility submetering) i couldn´t find Enertiv in the SERP.
Another way to go would be to invest some money in Adwords so you can control better the traffic you get for each keyword and the amount so you can easier test different versions of your page to optimize the conversions.

Help, site traffic has dropped significantly since we changed from http to https
Heya, so I am just in charge of the content on the site, and the SEO content, not the actual back-end stuff. A little under 2 weeks ago we switched to https, and our site traffic has been down a lot ever since. When I SERP check our keywords, they don't seem to have dropped in rankings pages. Here is what I got when I asked our dev guy if 301 redirects were put in: I did not add any redirects so all of the content is accessible on both unless individual links get hardcoded one way or the other. The only thing in place is a Cloudflare plugin which rewrites links in cached pages to match the way its accessed, so if for example you access a page over https you don’t get the version cached with a bunch of http links since that will throw up mixed content warnings in the browser. Other than that WP mostly generates all its links to match whatever protocol you are accessing the current page with. We can make specific pages redirect one way or the other in the future if we want to though... As a startup, site traffic is a metric we track to gouge progress, and so I really need to get to the bottom of if it was the change from http to https that has causes the drop, and if so, what can we do about it? Recovering organic traffic and Google rankings post-site-crash
Hi everyone, we had a client's Wordpress website go down about 2 weeks ago and since then organic traffic has basically plummeted. We haven't identified exactly what caused the crash, but it happened twice in one week. We spent a lot of time optimizing the site for organic SEO, improving load times, improving user experience, improving the website content, improving CTR, etc. Then one morning we get a notification from our uptime monitoring service that the site was down, and upon further inspection we believe it may have been compromised. The child theme that the website was using, all of the files were deleted and/or blank. We reverted the website to a previous backup, which fixed the problem. Then, a few days later, the same exact thing happened, only this time the child theme files were missing after the backup was restored. We've since re-installed and reconfigured the child theme, changed all passwords (Wordpress, FTP, hosting, etc.), and we're looking into changing hosting providers in the very near future. The site uses the Yoast Wordpress SEO plugin, which has recently been reported as having some security flaws. Maybe that was the cause of the problem. Regardless, the primary focus right now is to recover the organic traffic and Google rankings that we've worked so hard to improve over the past few months up until this disaster occurred. The client is in a very competitive niche and market, so I'm pretty frustrated that this has happened after we were making such great progress, Since the website went down, organic search traffic has decreased by 50%. The site and all internal pages are loading properly again (and have been since the second time the website went down), but Google Webmaster Tools is still reporting a number of pages as "not found" witht he crawl dates as early as this past weekend. We've marked all errors as "fixed", and also re-submitted the Sitemaps in Google Webmaster Tools. The website passes the "mobile-friendly" tests, received A and B grades in GTMMetrix (for whatever that's worth), and still has the same original Google Maps rankings as before. The organic traffic, however, and organic rankings on Google have seen a pretty dramatic decrease. Does anyone have any recommendations when it comes to recovering a website's authority and organic traffic after it's experienced some downtime?

Google result showing old Meta Title / Description even though page view source shows new info.
Hey guys! I'm struggling with why Google is ignoring my Meta Title / Description. I made a pretty drastic change to both about a week ago and on the results it hasn't changed. I'm on first page with several keywords and I think this weird caching is hurting me on where I'm at on the page. Thoughts / Ideas?

Web traffic tanked, not Penguin nor Panda...I am stumped...
I have had my current website for several years now, and traffic has been slowly building. 2010 = 49 hits a day, 2011 = 71 hits a day, 2012 = 157 hits a day. I target local traffic and local keywords around by business. I have kept up with SEO changes, using Facebook, social media, updated tags, and kept content fresh, added more galleries images, Auth tags & markup. I have 301 older sites that I have run in the past. Then early this spring everything dropped, slowly but surely, now I'm at 90 hits a day SERPS for my main phrase "boudoir photography" us at less than 50 according to MOZ. I have been watching the new Algo updates, and never had any issues because I don't spam article marketing, I don't buy links, I try to keep content fresh, I don't use directories...I designed the site for PEOPLE not SEO. I get major press about once to twice a year, newspapers still don't get links though.. grrrrr I get natural links through gallery shows, events, local blogs, art shows... So I thought it might be over the year I have slowly added too many less than 100 word pages? Media, Bio, Art I combined all into one page. One page with 300+ words VS 3 pages of 100 words. I did a 301 several pages and trimmed my menu down from 11 to 8 to help everything look cleaner and more eye pleasing...I started asking my friends/clients/collaborators for more links with no link text so they are natural...& not just "boudoir photography" Traffic is still dropping... Am I on the right track -- still not seeing results in rank, traffic, etc.
I am a complete novice, but I tend to learn quickly. My site is one year old, and I have very low traffic. I also rank poorly. I have recently learned a ton, and made some changes: 1. Put in meta no follow, no index tags on certain pages 2. Found and fixed some horrid content -- I had forgotten to finish certain pages (!) and they had been left up for months -- a good example is /California-homeschool.html basically said "Washington homeschool, blah, blah, blah" for about 8 months before I fixed it (!) 3. Added new content, changed the look and navigation of the site, added social media links and have been working to build those up (FB, Twitter, etc) 4. Started blogging regularly. Those are the main things I have done. I plan to continue to add content, tweak the navigation, and blog regularly. From what I can tell, link building should happen organically. My question is: Am I on the right track? Here is a link to my site: http://www.i-school-at-home.com Am I missing anything -- there seems to be so much info out there. Because there is a time lag between making changes and seeing results, I just would love to know if I am on the right track, before I devote more time to this strategy. Flash Effect on SEO Results

Switched From Wordpress, Traffic Dropped In Half
Hello, Thank you for taking a look at my issue. My site: http://www.getrightmusic.com A month ago, I switched from Wordpress to ExpressionEngine. The reason being I wanted a more powerful membership functionality with media uploading. After I switched, my traffic basically dropped in half. I was averaging around 4-6,000 unique visitors per day and now I am at about 2,000 per day. I resubmitted a new sitemap to Google webmasters. I also set up 301 redirects on my top 80 urls that were ranking well and driving traffic in Google. Not only did Google kick me off of my top spots in the SERP's, but I no longer get indexed as quickly as I used to. With the old Wordpress site I would get url's indexed within minutes. Now they aren't even getting indexed really at all. Is this a normal occurrence when switching site designs and systems? Do you think Google will just take a little time before they give me back some respect? Is there anything I should be doing to get back to ranking and getting indexed faster?
