Has anyone purchased the MOZ SEO courses? Are they good?

I'm looking to learn more about SEO. Has anyone purchased the courses available through MOZ? If so, are they useful?
-
All of the Moz products we think are really top quality.
Anyone can also learn about SEO, whether that's organic or local SEO, from the learn SEO section, we think Moz is brilliant.

I am a 'practical' seo with a few years of experiencie, from Spain. Never studied anything related with it appart from several non official courses about wordpress, links, webs, etc. And a few projects enough for a cheap living. I learnt evertything from myself and the internet, and despite having a few good projects I can not demonstrate my knowledge. I would like to start as a seo proffesional working with clients.
Could you please recommend any good and official course to start in the seo business? Universities, agencies... anything that could help to start and have an opportunity.
Regards in advance. -
I run the training program and can share some testimonials from our recent students below. The current coursework has widely positive feedback, with many students attending more than one class.
The one area of feedback we get about improvements (and are addressing) is that our most advanced attendees tend to think the courses are too basic. That makes sense as we have been aiming mostly at the beginner to intermediate user, and have one-off seminars focused on the most advanced user groups.
The most popular courses are the Keyword Research, SEO Fundamentals, and Site Audit class. These really focus on practical aspects of delivering SEO. We try to make that our differentiation. Having taken a lot of online classes ourselves, we don't find value in theory-only coursework. Without a practical application, its hard to justify the investment. So we focus on processes, application of concepts, and workflows.
Here are some testimonials we've gathered recently:
"It's definitely worth the price of admission"
"I would highly recommend MOZ training. Covers all the questions you are afraid to ask. Gives an informative insight into SEO and helps you discover how to read and relate to what's in front of you. How it impacts to your business and most importantly how to put it into practice. Bravo! Will definitely sign up for more. Thanks
"
"I really enjoyed this training. The content was very well organized and essential for learning the basics of SEO. The course was very informative and educational. I highly recommend this course."

Hey there!
We've heard positive feedback from many of our students. If you want to give the training a shot, the first class in the Bootcamp series runs at $49 and can be purchased individually. That may give you a good sense of the content and instruction style. Check out the catalog here: https://academy.moz.com/

I have the same question, I want to hear any feedback. I have been spending a lot of money on courses which are not what they pretend to be. I can say just the 10% are really useful.

Unsolved Fintech SEO: How to Get Started
My question is how to begin developing an SEO strategy for finance and software websites as an SEO Analyst. This is two entirely different industries which have merged together into fintech and we want to start building an organic traffic roadmap as well as technical changes that come with government and finance quid-lines.

The core function it deals with are payment collection, payment disbursement, invoices, SAAS as solution, automated payments, payment links, etc.
Let me know what steps and measure need to take place before creating any roadmap.0 -
Unsolved Anyone out there know MOZ well enough to provide a consultation on our results?
Hi Fans of MOZ, is there anyone out there that knows MOZ like an uber user and understands the details on crawl reports and what they mean? I'm looking for someone to review my MOZ results and give me some practical suggestions to work on with my SEO and web teams. Any takers?

Why does the MOZ bar not work on SERPs with site links?
Maybe a dumb question (am a beginner), but MOZ bar shows no information on SERP results with site links? I'm sure there's a reason? What is it?

Standard Syntax in robots.txt doesn't prevent Moz bot from crawling
A client is getting many false positive site crawl errors for things like duplicate titles and duplicate content on pages that include /tag/ in the URL. An example is https://needquest.com/place_tag/autism-spectrum-disorder/page/4/ To resolve this we have set up a disallow statement in the robots.txt file that says

Disallow: /page/ For some reason this appears not to work, as the site crawl errors continue to list pages like this. Does anyone understand why that would be and what we need to do to properly disallow crawling these pages?0 -
Is Moz Pro the tool that SEO agencies are using to SEO my website?
I was just wondering if MOZ PRO is the tool that SEO agencies and specialists are using to SEO my website? Is it possible for a new guy in the SEO to optimize his web site by himself using MOZ PRO and rank on the top? What is the best material to learn from outside the MOZ.com sources? Thank you! Kaloyan

Moz Pro for simple local seo status reporting
I have a new client on a small budget with a local yoga studio. There's been no SEO work on this site so far, so, after the basics, I plan to work through the items on this list: https://mza.bundledseo.com/blog/top-20-local-search-ranking-factors-an-illustrated-guide I'm a new Moz Pro user and am looking for advice on how to use Moz Pro tools with my client to review progress over time...a simple checklist of reports/metrics to share and track, and to use in weekly status reports. Or, in other words, how can I configure and use Moz Pro tools for basic progress tracking? This is not a sophisticated, SEO-savvy client, so I want to keep things very simple. Thanks for any ideas or pointers. Dave

Moz Staff: History + Watch List
Hi All, I have been going crazy trying to find a thread I read last week ... I think!
Getting Started | | Mark_Ch
Several search attempts later, no closer to finding the thread in question. A genius moment or simple frustration got me thinking. How cool would it be to have the following features on MOZ Q&A Forum. Watch List
1] Check off any threads that you would like to monitor over time. Should you stumble upon a thread of value then simply add to watch list and view it's progress over time. No searching for the thread in question. History
2] Keep a history off all threads viewed over a period of time. Thanks Mark0 -
