Does &pws=0 still work?
-
Hi All
I have have been kind of out of the seo scene for a while, does &pws=0 still work? I only ask as the search console says our brand name has droped to an average postion 3 ( instead of 1), but every time I check I we are 1st ( and I can see anything behind it that could possiabley get in front of it.
Thanks
Edit: Actually I also tried testing incognito, via a proxy and &pws=0, we are always 1st

This post from Jan 2020 seems to assume that you can still use &pws=0
... but I don't know how reliable it is!

Rankings-- Red & Green
Question - you can see the green positive and the red negative. If I optimize a certain keyword, and it turns red - how long should I wait before I optimize it again? The same with green - I had a keyword ranking up 20 points...which of course is good...should just wait for a a few months or use the keyword again next month? Not use how I should address the ups and downs (green & red) of rankings. thank you..

Title Tag & Ranking Improvement....
Hi I have a dilema that I could do with some help with please. I am working on a site and its home page is ranking on the second page of google position 2 (12) for a term such as [Portrait Photographer London] The title tag I am using for this homepage is "Portrait Photographer | Clients Brand Name" ( which does NOT include the word "photography / photographer") The reason why I used this term for the home page is eventually I would like to rank in the top 3 (I'm ambitious) for [Portrait Photographer] so I left out the location on the home page as I have an about us page where I have the title tag "Portrait Photographer London | Clients Brand Name" this is currently ranking on page 3 position 3 (33) for a term such as [London Portrait Photographer] I'm wondering if including the location would help move my client up any? So it would be: "Portrait Photographer London | Clients Brand Name" and the keyword I want move up for is [Portrait Photographer London] Hope this makes sense

Can I Trace The Keywords From a PPC & SEO Campaign That Brought The individual To My Site Without Using a Call Tracking Service?
Hi All I was wondering if it is possible to trace the individual keywords/key-phrases that someone has used to get them to my pages/site and if they came in from PPC or SEO, preferably without having to use a call tracking service, code under number, or multi-telephone line system? Regards Nic

Word Stuffing & Key Word Density
I have read many articles about keyword stuffing and density. What precentage of your webpage should the keyword density be as I am a bit concenred that I will get a warning from google about keyword stuffing. Lets say I have a website selling books, it is only natural for the keyword book to show up as a high precentage. All advice appreciated.

Logging out of Google vs. &PWS=0 ?
I typically append &pws=0 to my Google queries when I'm gathering results to share with a client. I recently sat in on another digital marketing firms presentation to the client, and they made a big deal about how their search engineers had conducted all the searched by "painstaking logging out of google, using a fresh browser, etc..." In my mind I was thinking that it was either a search engineer wasting time, or some hyperbole to impress the client. But I didn't really know for sure. Is &pws=0 actually equivellent to using a completely annonymous browser. For fun, I ran some queries under incognito on chrome running off a thumbdrive, and compared them to &PWS=0 results from my everday browswer while logged into google. I couldn't see any difference, but in my quick informal test, I also didn't find any difference between a personal SERP and a &PWS=0 SERP, so maybe I just didn't try the right query. Any thoughts?
