Star snippet not work

Personally I am not massively familiar with Alibaba, however, if it is anything like Google in the organic SERPS, then just because you have your star rating in place does not mean it will be displayed. Keep the ratings scheme on the chance things change and it gets displayed in the future.

Why is this spammy tactic working?
We've recently taken over this account and are baffled how the previous SEO company has been attaining rankings. Why in the world is this spammy tactic still working in this day and age? This is one of many landing pages on the website consisting of an iframe of the home page and a hidden article. Google Authorship v Product Rich Snippets
Hi Folks, So ,we have a website that we have fully configured with Product Rich Snippets (its an e-Commerce Store), including product image and the usual. We are considering verifying the Authorship of the website for the client as they will have an extensive blog. My question is, if we verify the Authorship of the website, which will Google use in terms of the rich snippet photograph in the SERP, will it use the product image as detailed in the Product Rich Snippet or us the company logo we have on the Google Plus page (Verified Author) Or is it a case we only add the rel:author tag to pages without products. Author snippet image in results, question!
Hi, Quick question really, I can see how a Google+ profile picture showing up in the results can increase CTR and even trust but would this be a no no for a normal website? I mean if you had a website which offered personal training, so a brand rather than an individual would you not use this snippet? I've seen some website, even ecommerce sites using this tag to just increase their CTR.
