Google not listing website correctly
-
have a domain that was unused for a while and displayed the "parked by Gandi" domain message. Recently, I decided to set up a fully working website on that domain, but I'm struggling to get it to rank correctly on Google.
Google isn't updating the http://domain.com to the correct https://www.domain.com, and I have tried everything. The http://domain.com redirects to https://www.domain.com if you click on it.
I managed to get the correct version, https://www.domain.com, to show up, but after a couple of days, it reverted to the old version and has stayed that way.
This has been going on for a few weeks now.
Additionally, I had an old version of the site using .com, and I forwarded that to the .co.uk, but the old .com will not be removed from Google. it was just one page without much content.
At the moment, Google's search results look very messy and out of date.
I have submitted the URL in the Google Search Console using the URL inspection tool and requested indexing and reindexing. I have also submitted sitemaps, but nothing is really working.
Any ideas?

It could have been because of a significant Google algorithm update was rolling out; sometimes, we can't send pages for indexing. We had this problem recently; try manually submitting each page again using Google Search Console.

If Google isn't listing your website correctly, check indexing status in Google Search Console, fix any crawl errors, optimize SEO elements like meta tags and keywords, ensure mobile-friendliness, and build high-quality backlinks to enhance site authority.

Certainly! Here's a summary of the steps to address the issues with your domain's SEO and indexing:

- Ensure
http://domain.com
redirects properly tohttps://www.domain.com
. - Use tools to verify redirects are clean and immediate.
- Update internal links and use a canonical tag (
<link rel="canonical" href="https://www.domain.com" />
).
- Ensure

Google Search Console and Indexing:

sitemap.xml
) to Google Search Console. - Use "Fetch as Google" to fetch both HTTP and HTTPS versions and request indexing.
- Monitor Index Coverage in Google Search Console for issues.
- Submit your sitemap (
-
Old Domain Handling:
- Ensure
.com
domain redirects with a 301 to.co.uk
. - Use Google Search Console to request removal of outdated
.com
URLs. - Consider adding noindex tags to old content if it's not relevant anymore.
- Ensure

Additional Considerations:
- Be patient with Google's indexing process; it can take time.
- Maintain consistency in SEO practices across your site.
- Regularly monitor Google Search Console for updates and issues.
Implementing these steps should help resolve the issues with your domain's SEO and ensure Google displays the correct and updated version of your site in search results.

I'm looking for some expert advice on improving the on-page SEO for my website, CCTV Camera Installation. Despite following best practices, I feel that my site isn't performing as well as it could be in search engine rankings. Here are a few specific areas where I'd appreciate some guidance:
Content Optimization: I've ensured my content is keyword-rich and valuable to my audience. Are there any advanced techniques or tools that can help further optimize my content?
Meta Tags and Descriptions: I've written unique meta titles and descriptions for each page, but I'm unsure if they're as effective as they could be. What are some tips for crafting compelling meta tags that improve click-through rates?
Internal Linking: I've set up a basic internal linking structure. How can I enhance this to better distribute link equity and improve user navigation?
Page Load Speed: While my site's load speed is decent, I'm aware that even minor improvements can have a significant impact on SEO. Are there any specific optimizations or tools you recommend for speeding up my website?
Technical SEO: I've covered the basics like XML sitemaps and robots.txt files. Are there any advanced technical SEO practices that I should be aware of?

words not appearing in the search engine or not ranking correctly ?
Although we do all the SEO work on our website, we do not rank in the words computer repair and laptop repair, although our backlink rate is good. The address of our website is https://trueonefix.com, one of the keywords I gave to the homepage that I was really curious about, for example, computer repair, I created a page on this page ( https://trueonefix.com/computer-repair/ ), they told me it was cannibalization and I removed it, now the site is getting less rankings than before. Can anyone help as to why this is? No matter what I do, I can't rank the words. #trueonefix #googlerank

Appending a code at the end of a URL
Hi All, Some real estate/ news companies have a code appended to the end of a URL https://www.realestate.com.au/property-house-qld-ormiston-141747584 https://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/national/queensland/childcare-centre-could-face-prosecution-for-leaving-child-on-hot-bus-20230320-p5ctqs.html Can I ask if there's any negative SEO implications for doing this? Cheers Dave

Is it Ok to have multiple domains (separate website different content) rank for similar keywords?
Is it 'OK' to have multiple domains in the following instance? Does Google actively discourage multiple (but completely different sites) domains from the same company appearing in the search results for the same and or similar keywords if the content is slightly different? This is where the 'main site' has the details, and you can purchase product, and the second site is a blog site only. We are creating a separate content blogsite; which would be on a second domain that will be related to one portion of content on main site. They would be linking back and forth, or maybe the blog site would just link over to the main site so they can purchase said product. This would be a similar scenario to give you an idea of how it would be structured: MAIN SITE: describes a few products, and you can purchase from this site SECOND SITE, different domain: a blog site that contains personal experiences with one of the products. BOTH sites will be linked back and forth....or as mentioned maybe the blog site could just link over to the 'main site' Logo would be a modified version of the main logo and look and feel of the sight would be similar but not exactly the same. MORE INFO: the main site has existed for way over 10 years, starting to gain some traction in an extremely competitive market, but does not rank super high, is gaining traction due to improvements in speed, content, onpage SEO, etc... So in addition to my main question of is this 'ok' to have this second domain, also will it hurt the rankings or negatively affect the 'main' site? Wondering about duplicate content issues, except it will be slightly different...

Rankings preferring English URL above local URL
We've recently had a redesign for our website and it has influenced our rankings a little bit. However, what I mainly noticed is that for some keywords in MOZ the English URL is looked at in terms of ranking, instead of the local URL. It used to be just the local URL ranking, even for keywords that are more English oriented, and I'm wondering if that might be hurting our rankings. And more importantly, why it's happening. An example of a page where it's happening is: https://www.bluebillywig.com/online-video-platform/

Unsolved Mistake on keyword stuffing detection(in my view)
Hello!
Moz Bar | | Seoman45
In Mozbar, optimization factors
"Avoid Keyword Stuffing in Document"
If a blog (or any other page) publishes an article, and that article attracts a considerable number of questions, it is inevitable to prevent repeating the keyword on that page. In other words, using keywords by users in comments should not be considered as "Keyword Stuffing". In my view, if this is true, you need to optimize the detection of "Keyword Stuffing".
By the way, thanks for the valuable service and tools for SEO.

Google Search Console - Excluded Pages and Multiple Properties
I have used Moz to identify keywords that are ideal for my website and then I optimized different pages for those keywords, but unfortunately rankings for some of the pages have declined. Since I am working with an ecommerce site, I read that having a lot of Excluded pages on the Google Search Console was to be expected so I initially ignored them. However, some of the pages I was trying to optimize are listed there, especially under the 'Crawled - currently not indexed' and the 'Discovered - currently not indexed' sections. I have read this page (link: https://mza.bundledseo.com/blog/crawled-currently-not-indexed-coverage-status ) and plan on focusing on Steps 5 & 7, but wanted to ask if anyone else has had experience with these issues. Also, does anyone know if having multiple properties (https vs http, www vs no www) can negatively affect a site? For example, could a sitemap from one property overwrite another? Would removing one property from the Console have any negative impact on the site? I plan on asking these questions on a Google forum, but I wanted to add it to this post in case anyone here had any insights. Thank you very much for your time,
