Show or hide content in responsive design
-
Hi everybody!
I'm trying to design the mobile version of an ecommerce with lots of filters in the menu (size, colours, material, etc.)
I'd like to know if it's better for this kind of sites to use an m.version or a complete responsive design.
I have analyzed my keywords and it's true that my website is founded in a really similiar way in both cases (desktop and mobile) so I wanted to design the whole site in responsive at first, but I'm afraid of being penalized if I hide content in the mobile version. This is why I'm thinking about making the responsive for desktop and tablets and the m. option as well, so as to hide menus and images.
What's your advice? Thanks in advance!

Hi, it will be interesting to hear other feedback on this also, but in my view just spend time building the responsive site and making it work well for various sizes and don't spend time on the specifically mobile site.
This blog post at Distilled may help too: http://www.distilled.net/blog/seo/responsive-web-design-distilledlive/

CTA first content next or Content first CTA next
We are a casino affiliations company, our website has a lot of the same casino offers. So is it beneficial to put the content over the casino offers, then do a CSS flex, reverse wrap, so the HTML has the page content first, but the visual of the page displays the casinos first and the content after? or just the usual i.e image the HTML as content first, and CSS makes offers come first?

Crawl Report shows Internal links as zero
We have recently updated our website (https://www.payumoney.com/) and created new pages like "https://www.payumoney.com/free-payment-gateway-India.html". we have internally linked all the pages, but when I check the crawl report from MOZ it shows internal links as 0 and these pages have the PA of 1 and not increasing. I am unable to find out the reason why is it happening?

Click to Call Showing Below Organic Result?
I noticed this about a week ago and can't find any info on it. Basically below some ORGANIC results, when searching on mobile, I'm seeing the option to instantly call the company. http://vzp.ro/1oDV30g (this is a link to my Google Drive where I saved my mobile screenshot.) Anyone know how to achieve it or where it's pulling that data from My original though was schema or it's basis is from a Google+ Brand page. I didn't see any specific markup on the site when I went via desktop so not 100% sure even where to start. Cheers Darin. 1oDV30g

Designing path structure - readability or keyword density
We are looking at redesigning our URL structure to accommodate our expansion. This gives us a chance to change the path, but we have found conflicting advice on readability vs. keyword density. These are our three options. mywebsite.com/s/birmingham/restaurants (Keep it short so that the keywords dominate the path) or mywebsite.com/search/birmingham/restaurants (Accurately describe the content on the page) or mywebsite.com/top/birmingham/restaurants (Be a bit spammy and include a word often associated with our inbound searches) Does anyone have any experience on what works best?

How does Google Detect which keywords my website should show up for in the SE?
When I checked my Google Webmaster Tools I found that my website is showing up for keywords that I didn't optimize for ... for example I optimize my website for "funny pictures with captions", and the website is showing up for "funny images with captions". I know that this is good, but the keyword is dancing all around, sometimes I search for "funny pictures with captions" and I show up in the 7th page, and some time I don't show up. and the same goes for the other keyword. of course I am optimizing for more than two keywords but the results is not consistent. my question is how does Google decide which keywords you website should show up for? Is it the on-page keywords?, or is it the off-page anchor text keywords? Thank you in advance ...

Duplicate Content
Part of a site I am working on, features many different bags in all thicknesses colors and sizes. I'm getting an error when some pages have different content like different thicknesses. The only differences between the pages are a single digit - but in trash bags that makes it a whole different product! I can't do a canonical because it's not the same. For example: http://www.plasticplace.net/index.php?file=productdetail&iprod_id=274 and http://www.plasticplace.net/index.php?file=productdetail&iprod_id=268 Any ideas?
