Can anyone recommend a good Schema plugin for wordpress sites, does anyone know if Yoast SEO plugin has schema features ?

Hi There - I have heard great things about Schema Creator by Raven! Yoast handles just publisher and author but nothing else. There is also the Google Plus Authorship plugin for Authorship specifically.

ideally one that covers all bases but client already has Yoast so will see how far that gets us, i take it since plugin no tech knowledge needed or does require an element of schema training to use ?

Hi Dan,

For what kind of Schema types are you looking for a plugin? Yoast SEO's plugins cover some Schemas by default but not all of them.

Google Not Indexing Pages (Wordpress)

Hello, recently I started noticing that google is not indexing our new pages or our new blog posts. We are simply getting a "Discovered - Currently Not Indexed" message on all new pages. When I click "Request Indexing" is takes a few days, but eventually it does get indexed and is on Google. This is very strange, as our website has been around since the late 90's and the quality of the new content is neither duplicate nor "low quality". We started noticing this happening around February. We also do not have many pages - maybe 500 maximum? I have looked at all the obvious answers (allowing for indexing, etc.), but just can't seem to pinpoint a reason why. Has anyone had this happen recently? It is getting very annoying having to manually go in and request indexing for every page and makes me think there may be some underlying issues with the website that should be fixed.

How do you delete an admin user in wordpress that wont delete

I hired an indian company to do some work on three sites that I own. I used a freelancing platform and they have been banned and now when i check in my wordpress sites, the admin user will not delete. Everytime i try and delete them it comes back. I change the password and the email address, but when i check a couple of hours later it comes back again, giving them full control over my sites which they are playing around with. any help would be great. I have tried going into the cpanel but it still will not delete. my hosting company has tried to delete them but it is not working

Schema.org markup for breadcrumbs: does it finally work?

Hi, TL;DR: Does https://schema.org/BreadcrumbList work? It's been some time since I last implemented schema.org markup for breadcrumbs. Back then the situation was that google explicitly discouraged the use of the schema.org markup for breadcrumbs. In my experience it had been pretty hit or miss - sometimes it worked without issues; sometimes it did not work without obvious reason. Consequently, I ditched it for the data-vocabulary.org markup which did not give me any issues. However, I prefer using schema.org and currently a new site is being designed for a client. Thus, I'd like to use schema.org markup for the breadcrumb - but of course only if it works now. Google has dropped the previous warning/discouragements and by now lists a schema.org code https://developers.google.com/structured-data/breadcrumbs based on the new-ish https://schema.org/BreadcrumbList. Has anybody here used this markup on a site (preferably more than one) and can confirm whether or not it is reliably working and showing the breadcrumb trail / site hierarchy in the SERP? Utilising Wordpress Attachment Pages Without Getting Duplicate Content Warnings.

I have a wordpres site that relies heavily on images and their usefulness. Each post links to larger sizes of the images with links back to the post and the "gallery" all images uploaded to the post. Unfortunately this goes against the "rules" and our attachment page show as duplicate content in Google (even though the image titles are different). There must be a way to utlise and make the most of attachment pages without getting duplicate content warnings?

Can Google Read schema.org markup within Ajax?

Hi All, as a local business directory, we also display Openinghours on a business listing page. ex. http://www.goudengids.be/napoli-kontich-2550/
At the same time I also have schema.org markup for Openinghours implemented.
But, for technical reasons (performance), the openinghours (and the markup alongside) are displayed using AJAX. I'm wondering if google is able to read the markup. The rich snippet tool and markup plugings like Semantic Inspector can't "see" the markup for openinghours. Any advice here?

Wordpress: Tags generate duplicate Content - just delete the tags!?

Asking people, they say tags are bad and spamy and as I can see they generate all my duplicate page content issues. So the big question is, why Google very often prefers to show in SERPS these Tag-URLS... so it can't be too bad! :)))? Then after some research I found the "Term Optimizer" on Yoast.com ... that should help exactly with this problem but it seems not to be available anymore? So may be there another plugin that can help... or just delete all tags from my blog? and install permanent redirects?
Is this the solution?

Schema.org how long does it take?

Since 5 days ago I changed my html template in my ecommerce to comply with schema.org for products. Do sub-categories and categories behave similarly in WordPress?

Hi, I'm aware of the SEO benefit in category pages and would like to implement them on my (client's) site. Unfortunately, the developer set up the blog where there is one parent category called 'blog' and the rest of the categories are sub-categories, underneath the parent. While it seems like an easy fix, he claims that it's not because of some programmer jargon I can't understand. So my question is, can subcategories offer same or similar value as categories, or do I go head to head with this charming guy?
