I have all these reports but no idea how to fix them!
-
Who can I hire to help fix all the issue with my site?
-
Hi Scott,
Check out the Moz Recommended List - included are companies whose services Moz recommends for consulting, covering SEO, CRO, design, etc. You may find a good agency or freelance consultant through this list that meets your needs or who can refer you to someone appropriate.
I echo the statements regarding contacting the person who developed your website if you had a specific developer. He or she may be able to help too.
Best,
Jane

I agree with Dennis’s advice! It will be easy for a developer to fix all the problems that Moz tool is displaying on your website. At the first place you should hire him again to fix all the problems. Moz usually describes the problem with a possible solution to it so you don’t really need to hire some SEO for this just reachout to the developer and your basic errors will be fixed.
Hope this helps!

Hi Scott
Who created the website? He could help you out, with your management that is since he created the issues in the first place The Moz reports usually let you know what the problems are specifically so they are actionable in a way.
If there are stuff that you dont understand, people here can pitch in and help you out.

Redirecting dofollow, high-domain-authority links from one site to another: good idea?
I have two sites that offer help for freelance writers. The first gets almost no search traffic and is very low priority for me. The second is my main priority and gets substantial search traffic. The low-priority site has a significant number of dofollow backlinks from high-domain-authority sites. Is it a good idea to 301 redirect these links to similar/related posts on my high-priority site? Would this potentially boost the SEO of my high-priority site? Thanks for any help!

If I disavow bad links on "disavow link webmaster" will they still show up on my moz reports?
We recently found out we have a lot of bad links linking back to our website from spam sites, I disavowed them through the google disavow link webmaster. On my moz report it still shows the links, is that normal?

Adding NOFOLLOW to all external links, is this a good idea?
In the setting of a news site, with articles that often link to one or more outside sources, is it a good idea to rel="nofollow" all external links? Would this hurt link-building prospects? Of course, internal links would keep on passing link juice back and forth, but is there real harm in following external links? These would be links our writers and editors created themselves to reputable sources, blogs, etc.

Are link exchanges bad for SEO these days? Also, is adding my site to free yet relevent directory sites a bad idea?
I operate a computer services company in Eugene, Oregon called "Eugene Computer Geeks". We do a lot of web design, and need incoming links to my site very badly. Lately I've been asking clients if they would link to me, but they almost always ask for a link in return. If we exchange links, does Google penalize my site? Would the incoming link be better for SEO if I'm not linking back to the other site? ALSO Is it possible that manually submitting my site to free, yet relevant web directories would hurt my rankings? It's not a big deal to me if it doesn't help my rankings, as I see a benefit to having my site listed, but wanted to make sure there wasn't a chance that it would hurt my rankings. As far as I know all the directories are free from SPAM, porn, warez, or anything like that. Thanks!

Brainstorming - Unusual Ideas to get links in the "short term loan" industry
Hello, I would like to hear your strange/unusual/funny ideas for link building campaigns for a website targeted in the short term lending industry. It doesn't matter how easy/complicated it is to apply them, but the more realistic the better. Please don't post anything that was covered in detail somewhere else or something that does not have at least a small/tiny level of realism. An example: Extract the funniest/smart quotations related to money. Create an article where you explain that "even if you are in the short term loan industry" you care about your customers and you want them to educate them so in the future they can avoid getting in a situation when they have very few alternatives.
