#! (hashbang) check help needed
-
Does anybody have experience using hashbang? We tried to use it to solve indexation problem and I'm not fully sure do we use right solution now (developers did it with these FAQ and Guide to Ajax crawling as information source).
One of our client has problem, that their e-shop categories, has solution where search engines aren't able to index all products. In this example a category, there is this "Näita kõiki (38)" that shows all category products for users but as I understand search engines aren't able to index it as /et#/activeTab=tab02 because of #. Now there is used #! (hashbang) and it is /et#!/activeTab=tab02. Is this correct solution?
Also now example category URL is defferent for better indexation with:
/et#!/
../etAnd when tabs "TOP ja uued" and "Näita kõik" where activated/clicked then:
/et#/activeTab=tab01
/et#/activeTab=tab02I tried to fetch it in Google Webmaster Tools but it seems it didn't work.
I would appreciate it if anybody can check this solution?

Blank Cart Pages Showing as Duplicate, HELP
Hi Everyone, I'm seeing a bunch of URLs that look something like this [ domain.com/cart?add&id_product=42&token=776d4a08721f3d8c920e287248797547] showing as duplicate content in my Moz crawls. I think these are just blank pages for the most part. Is there anything to be concerned with here? Is there a way to clean this up? Thanks! Ricky

Category 404 Error in Wordpress | Help!!!
Hello Gurus hope everyone is having a fantastic day. Right so I've been pulling my hair with this 404 error on links as such: htttp://manvanlondon.co.uk/category/clients/removals/man-and-van-wandsworth This link appears in the category page clients and the /removals/man-and-van-wandsworth part is the link that should take the user on the Man and Van Wandsworth page in the/ from the footer. However this link and all other links in the footer on these category pages/posts appear to be broken ONLY on this category pages, thus creating 404 errors. And those pages(i.e man and van Wandsworth) are not even categorized. The website is www.manvanlondon.co.uk . We tried various things on Wordpress and nothing is working including non-indexing. Has anyone met this problem before? Is there a way to fix it? Thank you for your time, and hope my explanations make sens. Monica

Need to know if this could be dangerous
We have recently launched an store, and we had created 301 redirects from the old product pages to the new ones. But we found that the new website performance was a quite slow, and that it would improve a lot if you add a number at the end of the product page url. But that implies to change the 301 redirect and to add a new one for the pages that has already been updated by the search engine. I mean. www.store.com/oscommerce/catalog/productpage.html has been now 301 redirected to www.store.com/sectionname/productpage this was 48 hours ago. But now, (I know it, we should check this before...) we need to change the url to www.store.com/sectionname/productpage/5487 this way the performance improves a lot. But we are afraid of doing two 301 in just 48 hours. any advice?

Need your thoughts on my site
Hi, This is my site: http://hemorrhoidssuccess.com/ I have got some decent natural links with a mix of different anchor texts. My main keyword is "Hemorrhoids Treatment", And i got very less exact match anchor texts. Now i was able to rank for "Top Hemorrhoid Treatment" on #2 Page, but i was not in the index for the my main keyword "Hemorrhoids Treatment". Can you review my site and let me know, what i am missing? Do i need to get more links? If so with what anchor texts? Will be waiting for your replies.. Thanks in Advance

Help needed for a 53 Page Internal Website Structure & Internal Linking
Hey all... I'm designing the structure for a website that has 53 pages. Can you take a look at the attached diagram and see if the website structure is ok? On the attached diagram I have numbered the pages from 1 to 53, with 1 being the most important home page - 2,3,4,5, being the next 4 important pages - 6,7,8... 15,16,17 being the 3rd set of important pages, and 18,19,20..... 51,52,53 being the last set of pages which are the easiest to rank. I have two questions: Is the website structure for this correct? I have made sure that all pages on the website are reachable. Considering the home page, and page number 2,3,4,5 are the most important pages - I am linking out to these pages from the the last set of pages (18,29,20...51,52,53). There are 36 pages in the last set - and out of this 36, from 24 of them I am linking back to home page and page number 2,3,4,5. The remaining 8 pages of the 36 will link back to pages 6,7,8...15,16,17. In total the most importnat page will have the following number of internal incoming links: Home Page : 25 Pages 2,3,4,5 : 25 Pages 6,7,8...15,16,17 : 4 Pages 18,19,20...51,52,53 : 1 Is this ok considering home page, and pages 2,3,4,5 are the most important? Or do you think I should divide and give more internal links to the other pages also? If you can share any inputs or suggestions to how I can improve this it will greatly help me. Also if you know any references for good guides to internal linking of websites greater that 50 pages please share them in the answers. Thank you all! Hierachy in a Title Tag Needed?
When coding the title tags of a website, is it important to note the hierarchy of the website so the search engine can find that page? So, for example, the title tag would be, for a subcategory: Webpage Subcategory>Category>Website name Does this help the search engine rankings at all? Or can the search engines figure out the hierarchy by reading a sitemap or the HTML readable navigation? Then you could focus on the descriptive keywords of the subcategory page for the title tag. Also, should you always include the site name in the title tag?

How can I check if the FOLLOW,NOINDEX tag is working?
Hi everyone! After reading about pagination practices, a few days ago we introduced the <meta name="robots" content="FOLLOW,NOINDEX" /> tag, to prevent duplicate content. You can find an example below: http://www.inmonova.com/en/properties?page=2 I have been checking yahoo site explorer and result pages still get indexed. My question is: Am I doing something wrong? Is the code incorrect (follow, noindex - noindex, follow)? Or does it just take some time to have effect? Thanks in advance.
