Can I add all three branch locations of a small credit union to one Moz local listing, and if not, is it worth it to pay for three different local listings with MOZ?
-
Adding Moz local listing for a small credit union with only three branches. I am doing this to update their information across the web, but do not want to have to create three separate spread sheets and / or pay for three separate listings.
Is there a way to add all three branches to one listing? If not, is it worth the expense and does it help or hurt if you add three separate listings with the same name and phone number but three different addresses. We also do not want to set up more than one Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc, accounts.

Hi Mollie. Regarding Moz Local, the $84 charge is per location per year. If you've already created paid accounts with the sites where the branches are currently mentioned your cost will only be in hours by doing it yourself.
Regarding some of your location settings, there was a recent discussion here: http://moz.com/community/q/client-says-no-local-phone-number-all-locations-no-directing-to-centralized-call-center about the policy (Google's) around using a call center number versus branch specific numbers.
Listings in general need to be as specific possible in order for people to interact with locations. When you're talking abut mobile users, not having listings that are individualized would likely result in poor map listings and poor walk-in-mobile traffic. You'll likely want to do a cost-benefit analysis of whether or not having your branches listed individually and ranking well would bring in more than $252 / year. Cheers!

Hi: I manage nearly 50 locations. Basically all of the information other than contact information is the same across all locations. Is there a way to manage information across multiple listings? -- Chase

Moz local "add one of your own photos"
I am new to Moz Local, and I am working to update my business listing. I felt lost when there was a section asking for photos, but instead of uploading them, they are a URL. I do not understand how to add these photos. Can someone help?

Foursquare syncing on Moz Local
I searched the boards here and I couldn't find a question about one of my most persistent issues with Moz Local. As an SEO at a small agency, I'm typically managing between 5-6 different Moz Local campaigns from one dashboard. I have found the Foursquare syncing process to be extremely troublesome. Has anyone cracked it? I was only able to get 1 of my 5 current campaigns to sync. And I did it a while ago so I've forgotten how I did it. Here's how the process has been going for me. This is going to be lengthy (sorry) but I want you all to have all the deets. I see an alert in the Foursquare sync box on my left hand menu. I click it. It takes me to this page: https://mza.seotoolninja.com/local/bulk/managed/oauth/foursquare. I see a message that reads "4 Listings need access to Foursquare". I click the button in this message that says "+ Foursquare account". I add a personal Foursquare account because apparently you need a pesonal account before you can set up a business account (a la Facebook?). I successfully go through steps to add a Foursquare account. If I click the little gear in the "4 Listings need access to Foursquare" box it shows that I have 3 connected Foursquare accounts. But this appears to be as far as I can go. What's next? Above the "4 Listings need access to Foursquare" box there's another box that says "2 Foursquare account have no matching listings." This box isn't clickable. There appears to be no next step here. I'm super frustrated by this user experience. Am I supposed to creating Foursquare Accounts with the business name some how?

Moz Local showing wrong Acxiom Listing
Hey there -- The Acxiom listing that is showing up for a client in Moz Local isn't the clients business. It's showing a different law office. The only overlapping data is the city, state and zip code. For reference, the client has claimed their Acxiom business listing. Anything I can do to fix this? I can't even click on the listing from Moz.

Should I leave the updating to Moz Local (App) or do it myself?
Hello. I am using the Moz Local service to submit my site to directories. There seems to be a bit of conflicting information/Instructions. Do I just sit back and let Moz continue with providing updates to the sites, or do I have to manually go in to each of the partner sites to make sure that they are all updated correctly? I seem to remember reading one instruction telling me to let Moz do it, and another saying that I should be doing it. There are missing categories on some of the sites, which I am being told to make sure are correct, whilst the Moz Local site is saying 'Update in progress'. I am a bit confused :0)

Local Search and Moz Local Question
I'm using Moz Local for a few clients right now with good results. Was talking to a friend about using it for one of her web clients and a new scenario came up. The client does waste management and has a dozen locations in/outside of a metro area. She's been "trying to get their listing on Google Maps" without luck. After some probing, it turns out their main address for operations is in the metro area they are targeting, but they don't have waste facilities there and wanted to prevent customers from coming there. They actually use a PO Box for their contact information on their website and make no mention of the main address. Looking to see if anyone agrees with my proposed solution: Claim Google My Business listing for the main address in the metro area they're trying to optimize for. Use Moz Local to clean up their main listing (after a quick check, it's a mess) for the operations address. Update website contact info to include the main operations address, and make specific mention of which other addresses customers should/shouldn't go to for dumping/picking up equipment. So, the recommendation would be one Moz Local account. I figure no need to do listing for all of their other locations since they're just waste facilities controlled by the main listing. Does this seem like a plan?

On Moz Local, localeze says "this listing is already managed by someone else"
Hey Mozzers, For my Moz local listings, there is a yellow exclamation mark on localeze and it says "this listing is already managed by someone else". My company previously had a listing with localeze, but we closed it early this year. How can I remove localeze's control of our account? How can I make sure Localeze is feeding all the appropriate sites with the correct information? thanks, Evan Jerkunica
