Newer iteration of Avinash Kaushik's Web 2.0
-
Greetings all!
Does anyone know if there is a more recent, but comparable, book that covers the topic of analytics like Avinash Kaushik's Web Analytics 2.0: The Art of Online Accountability and Science of Customer Centricity or Brian Clifton's Advanced Web Metrics with Google Analytics, 2nd Edition?
These were published in 2009 & 2010. I know the core concepts remain the same, but the technology has improved greatly.

Hi Martin,
I presume you have read this book. I just wanted to know your review so I can think to buy and read this book.
Thanks

It's not really the same, but what do you think about Lean Analytics?

Help With Understanding Chrome Web Store Analytics
Hi all, our website Creately is listed in the Chrome Web Store. Its not an extension or an app, but just a link to app which users can use to quickly log into the app and start drawing their diagrams. They do provide you a way to add Google Analytics to track some visitor data like user visits. But we want to figure out from which sections of Chrome Web Store is sending us traffic. When looking at the Source/Medium reports I can see the following. chrome-ntp-icon / (not set) chrome-app-launcher / (not set) chrome-ntp-launcher / (not set) chrome-app-launcher-search / (not set) chrome-app-launcher-info-dialog / (not set) I'm guessing these indicate where we're getting the traffic to the Chrome web store page but I can't seem to find any information about what they mean. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

301 Redirect 'https'? First post - Newbie.
Good afternoon, Thank you in advance for your help - this is my first post and I am new to all of this. Situation: I've setup 301 redirects for www.thechiplab.com to my new site www.chiplab.com (recently launched e-commerce site on Magento) through cPanel. Problem: Some of my best links are to my old ''https:" www.thechiplab.com secure domain (ex. http://techcrunch.com/2006/12/22/why-doesnt-cafepress-use-flash/) and are not being "passed" on to the new domain. (Open Site Explorer) Is it possible to recover any of the PR from the old secure site? Thanks again, Chase

Should I delete a page that gets search traffic, that I don't care about?
I have a page on my site that consistently gets traffic, every month. Googlers seems to love it. But I don't like it at all. Webmaster tools shows that google allows us a certain number of search impressions each day. - it flatlines, they are limiting the impressions we get. We also getthe same number of clickthroughs each day. So my question is for anyone who has this same experience, who may have experimented by deleting a page you don't care about. Did you just lose that number of clicks each day or did other pages on your site get displayed and clicked through instead?
