MOZ not accepting our recent changes it still showing us old Crawl Diagnostics report
-
Hi,
We made changes for 302 redirects which are listed in crawl diagnostics report. Now "Compare" and "Wishlist" links are already removed from our source code. All required changes are made but still your report listed Compare and wishlist links.
We made changes on Friday (14/8/2015) and waiting for new updated report.

Please let us know what is the exact issue. So that we can fix it.

The only differences between the campaign crawl and the crawl test are that the campaign is an automated tracking that updates once a week and the crawl test is an on the spot crawl that can be requested at any time, though the crawl test is limited to crawling only 3000 pages of a site. (This shouldn't be an issue for the Stop Wobble site, as we have only found about 600 pages.) The type of audit you get between the two tools is the same.
The purpose of the crawl test is to audit sites that you don't necessarily want to create a full campaign for yet, but it is often used check site updates between regularly scheduled campaign crawls.

Hi,
As you said updation of the crawl diagnostics in the campaign is once a week,But it is very difficult to us to wait a week for next crawl diagnostics report. There is a Crawl Test tool in which 2 crawl test credits are given for each day. So, What is the difference between crawler diagnostic that is done weekly and crawler tests that we can do twice a day?
-
Hey There,
Thanks for writing in and sorry for the confusion! We only update the crawl diagnostics in the campaign once a week, and it looks like the last crawl for the Stop Wobble campaign was updated on Aug 12th. When you update your site between crawl updates, you won't see the new information in your campaign until the next weekly crawl, which is schedule for August 19th by the end of the day Pacific Time (since we operate out of Seattle.)
In the meantime, you can always run a Crawl Test for the site here between the weekly updates. You will just want to wait at least 48 hours after the last campaign crawl, as we cache the data to preserve resources.
I hope this helps! Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.

Why didn't the Moz rankings change yesterday?
As of this morning, the Domain Authority section on our campaign still reads: "Next scheduled update: Jan 25, 2017 PST" and nothing has changed - it is still showing our old DA and how much it went up since last time. Is this a problem on our end, or is Moz experiencing difficulties with DA updates? Thanks in advance!

How to force MOZ crawlers to search in the right area for local SEO
We do local SEO over here and so our keywords are always followed by a city name, like so: "auto repair+Springfield". If there's ever any confusion within SERPS which "Springfield" the searcher is looking for we can depend on Google to pull query location to assume it's the nearest to them (it does, and is usually correct). And furthermore, if the office ever needs to check for rankings by hand (we're not in Springfield), we just set the query location to "Springfield" and our results match their. However, MOZ doesn't set a query location. Which makes sense, I suppose, because their crawlers are up in the Bay. What I'm saying is that oftentimes there's a discrepancy between how MOZ tells me they rank, and how I see them ranking, the business owner sees them ranking, and how the customer finds them ranking. As such, we can't send them reports through MOZ 😞 Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution? Should the keyword be followed by a zip code instead of a city name? This seems like it would solve the location query problem but it may not provide the same results as service+city name.

Custom Anchor text link on Moz profile section
Hi, Does anyone know if you can modify your anchor text and URL after you reach 200 Moz points on your profile section (On the web section under image)? I am close to getting my 200 pts (btw...enjoyed the entire journey) and am trying to choose my anchor text. Here is some interesting analysis too. I have a Spanish site since we are an Argentinean firm. 1. Would a spanish word as anchor text have any value since Moz.com is an English site? I am think about semantics here and how Google likes only content relevant links. My thought is that it does today but it may not be true in the future if Google is going to do away with linkbuilding and just do semantics and co-citation. Thanks Carla
