I am doing a $10'000 giveaway to get more automotive dealers to an auction in Detroit to buy cars from my clients wholesale company which is called www.canadiansupersellers.com. We are going to give away Super Bowl Sunday tickets to create fans and followers but mainly to get dealers to show up to auction this Thursday. Is this something that anyone would be interested in helping me promote? If you can give me reasonable assurances that we can get results I can pay whatever is reasonable.The auction that we are promoting is Next thursday so I would like to start seeing results by as early as Tuesday.Is a budget of $1500 reasonable?Thanks, David [email protected]

You are starting very late for sticking $10,000 on the line.
I would use FedEx rather than the Internet. Your target audience is dozens of people and for $1500 you could FexEx them on Monday a golden invitation and a lottery ticket.

Unusual post. Difficult without a deep dive. But generally multiple options but for $1500.00 it appears an Adwords/Facebook, type scenario. Facebook you can get specific & granular in audience targeting and re-marketing. With that budget I would have though DIY. The other option, is it seems like a narrow audience is simply cold call or email them...
I would also recommend a press release and drive for some local coverage, it would be great for backlinks and building site authority. It is tough but you only have limited time. Alot to do all the best.

Places page help
Hi I was hoping somebody could provide me with some help regarding places pages. If I search 'recruitment agencies Chester' I get this result https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=recruitment+agencies+chester&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&client=firefox-a&gws_rd=cr&ei=LsBTUr6rJ8Sw0wXt74CQAg I am confused as to why certain sites are ranking higher than others for example: The site with the a) ranking has no reviews and the place page doesn't seem particularly optimised. The site ranked at c) has 2 bad reviews The site ranked at g) seems to have a much more optimised places page yet ranks below the other sites. Is this just a strange batch of results or can somebody provide me with more information/ help? I don't understand the ranking system at the moment. Thanks for any help you might be able to offer!

Best Video Sitemap plugin for wordpress? And do I need both a video sitemap and a normal one?
Hi all, I currently use the Google XML Sitemaps plugin on my wordpress site. But we've recently began adding (self-hosted) videos that we've been careful to markup with the relevant schema. However, there's a couple of things I don't understand and am hoping someone could help: Do we need a separate video sitemap that either works alongside Google XML Sitemaps or replaces it? If we do need a video sitemap, what's the best video site map to get? (we are using the Thesis theme so can't use the Yoast one unfortunately as they don't play nice together...) Would 2 Google Places locations help my Google Places ranking?
Hi. Our agency office is located in a "bad" zip code relevant to active businesses who would need our agency services. In a nutshell, we get really bad inquiries who can never afford our services...and it's coming directly from the Google geolocation function. We plan to relocate our offices within 1 year. Would it help us in Google Places if we created a "new" physical office location to cover up the "bad" one we are currently in? We could use a paid location like a UPS Mail Center physical address that is located within a more desiring zip code. Thanks for any input. Jay

Optimizing Google Places Listing - Please Help!
I claimed the Google Places listing a few months ago - added a description and all the necessary information. Finally got the page to show up in the places category on the 5th page for the search "vet las vegas". Then on some computers it likes to show up on the 8th page and on others the 5th page - weird!?. I need some help on the following: How can I get Google to put my website as an link in the "More About This Place"/citation section? The old website which was at a different domain is present but not the new one (the new one has been live for 2 months). -Am I missing any key information to help with my ranking? The 8th page is a pretty poor ranking and holds no value whatsoever. The description I typed out on Google Places does not display in the search results. - I am assuming adding citations is essentially just about adding backlinks that Google can pull to add to the "More About This Place" section - any surefire ways to get more citations there? Do I need incoming links to my mobile site, if I want to rank for mobile search?
Does a mobile site need backlinks to rank? Or are onsite factors the one and only here? And what are the most important "onsite" factors for mobile seo?

Will linking to my citation sources help google recognize them / credit my places account?
Or will those sources be discounted by google then similar to how google discounts link exchanges? I have noticed some pages, like mapquest, don't really have a directory, so google might not be aware of their content unless it is linked too??? In this type of a case, would it help to link to mapquest's search results? then the citation will get picked up by google? Example: http://www.mapquest.com/?hk=6-i30tP49i
