Corporate website in multiple locations and with multiple services
-
Dear Team,
We are a corporate setup in India, we have the following services under different brand names:
1. Security guard services - ORION
2. Facility management services - NOIRO
3. Investigation services - Ascertain Solutions
We are located in different locations - India, Bahrain and Abu Dhabi
What is the best way to structure our website properties for getting maximum SEO benefit, please inform from the following options:
i. One website with one blog, we will have multiple pages dedicated to each service where page titles can be the brand names of the service and the location, the domain will be of the parent company only. So everything comes under orionsecure.com. There will be a security services page for India, for Abu Dhabi , for Bahrain. Similar for investigation and facility management.
**ii. Multiple websites for different locations and different services, **so there will be orionsecure.com, orionsecure.ae and orionsecure.bh. Also, there will be a noiro.com, noiro.ae etc. Each website will have a blog for content publishing (although it is hard to imagine how we can develop content for different locations).
**iii. One website each for each service, location shown differently through domain masking, **so we keep developing different pages as per the different locations on one website only, but this is shown differently through domain masking.
Please help with this query, I really need an answer to this. If any more questions, please connect on [email protected] or call on +91-8510999664.
Thanks and Regards,
Naman Arora

1 and/or 3. not 2.
if there is a lot of volume and its competitive keywords, #3 would help you build sites that are more focused on specific topics (which are ranking well now). Note that this is harder to manage/maintain and will have a larger investment in marketing than option 1.
I also think you should have 1 "corporate/umbrella" website that does what your option 1 says which links to your option 3 sites. Hopefully you can have both sites ranking for your terms.

Please could you help? My old website is written in php. I've created a new design of the website in Java. When I turn the domain name to point to my new website how do I make sure pages that are ranked in google that don't exist on my new website transfer 301 from my old website to a similar page on my new website. Old Website Example example.com/bootcampuk.php New Website Example example.com/bootcamps.jsp Many Thanks, Rob

Content Of Dead Websites Can be resused?
I have 2 websites. One website links are from spamy techniques (wrong guy hired) which still has massive links so I started a new website with a fresh domain. Now when the new website (only white hate methods used) has started to show positive movements I feel like its the right time to shut the other website down. Since, I have a lot of content on my first site (spamy links) can i reuse the content again on my new site after I shut down my first site?

This link as been removed no reference to our website, however it still showing on GWT inbound links. I have noticed quite a few sites which have no relevance to our site. Is anyone else finding the information wrong in WMT

Indexing based on location
Hi everybody. Bit of an interesting question. I have a client that wants to have the following pages on their site indexed: example.fr/home.html on Google.fr for users based in France
Intermediate & Advanced SEO | | Blink-SEO
example.com/fr/home.html on Google.com for users not based in France. So they wish to have both pages indexed in the end but not displayed to the same geographic users. Not entirely sure the best way to go about this, so any tips would be much appreciated!0 -
Same website, seperate subfolders or separete websites? 12 stores in two cities
I have a situation where there are 12 stores in separate suburbs across two cities. Currently the chain store has one eCommerce website. So I could keep the one website with all the attendant link building benefits of one domain. I would keep a separate webpage for each store with address details to assist with some Local SEO. But (1) each store has slightly different inventory and (2) I would like to garner the (Local) SEO benefits of being in a searchers suburb. So I'm wondering if I should go down the subfolder route with each store having its own eCommerce store and blog eg example.com/suburb? This is sort of what Apple does (albeit with countries) and is used as a best practice for international SEO (according to a moz seminar I watched awhile back). Or I could go down the separate eCommerce website domain track? However I feel that is too much effort for not much extra return. Any thoughts? Thanks, Bruce.

Hosting two websites
Hi guys, I work with a company that has a business to consumer (B2C) website and a business to business (B2B) website selling the same product. The content will differ but the structure / templates will be similar across both sites. Any recommendations or suggested reading to ensure both sites appear in Search? Many thanks in advance! Richard

Changing website providers
After increasing suffering down time from my current website provider, I am seriously considering finding a new one. My only concern is the effect on SERP. Does anyone have any experience with this and what to do and avoid?

Hello SEO MOzzers, I am today wanting your feedback on a site that I recently went live with. My Google rankings for the main keywords are doing very well considering the site has been live for 3 weeks now. I of course have a list of items that i'm still working on, completing meta description tags, title tags, adding copy content to category pages, updating h1 tags, working on our backlinking campaign, etc. Is there anthing any of you SEO Mozzers can see that I may have missed? the web domain is www.carbodypanels4u.co.uk Keywords "body Panels"
