I want to purchase Moz but my company wants to see how it goes before diving into an annual subscription. Is this possible?

Hi there.

Yes, of course! When you go to pricing page - https://mza.bundledseo.com/products/pro/pricing make sure that you are on "Monthly" tab, not yearly. See screenshot attached.
