Hi,
It is easy, you installed an SSL certificate but did not properly redirected the page, both http & https versions are accessible, thus creating duplicates. You have lost 5 DA points just last week during the latest update. Add this code to your .htaccess page and wait until the end of the month for the next update:
RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS} off RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301] Hope it helps!

Hi there!
Sam from Moz's Help Team here! It looks like PlanetHurf has sent you to a great resource about why the Domain Authority might drop for a particular site - do let me know if you have any follow up questions about that.
The Spam Score isn't entirely dependent on backlinks. We also calculate this score by analysing your site itself (the URL that you enter into Open Site Explorer) You can click directly on the Spam Score from within Open Site Explorer, and you'll see a list of reasons we've assigned a site a particular score - for instance with https://mza.seotoolninja.com/researchtools/ose/spam-analysis/flags?subdomain=truckcare.com, you'll see some of the markers are 'Thin Content', 'Low Number of Pages Found', and 'No Contact Info'.
The general rule we have at Moz is that you shouldn't be concerned about anything that has a spam score under 8. Additionally, just because our tool has assigned a site a specific spam score does not mean it is impacting the site in any way. These are merely suggestions of things you might want to check out. If you haven't determined yourself that they are spammy links, then there is no action or further concern required on your part - looking into backlinks from sites with spam scores of 8 or higher would definitely be a good idea, just to ensure that you aren't being linked to from a site that is actually spammy.
If you'd like to learn more about the Spam Score in general, here are some super helpful resources:

http://truckcare.com/ this domain have 0 backlink pointing to it so why it shows a spam score of 9,which is so much high.

With regard to your DA dropping, take a look at this discussion that's taking place elsewhere on the Q & A Forum: <a>https://mza.seotoolninja.com/community/q/is-everybody-seeing-da-pa-drops-after-last-moz-api-update</a> - It's starting to get interesting near the bottom.
Reducing the spam score will require some backlink analysis to identify the source of the links considered to be "spammy" and if you are concerned, and you are able, get them removed at source or use the disavow tool. Do read the advice given on this page before proceeding, though: <a>https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/2648487?hl=en</a>
Good luck!

I bought a domain name https://ez1.in and it has a high MOZ spam score. Although it is because of the previous webmaster who used this domain as a URL shortening website. But now I am using it as a service delivery website. I wanted to know once a domain is deleted and ready to resell MOZ doesn't update its Spam score? Or it has periodic updates that are scheduled? How does the whole process work?

Does "Disallow: /xmlrpc.php" in robots.txt affect moz tools ability to fetch DA?
Just checked a website for Domain Authority using Moz' tool, however it returned 1 for DA, which should be unlikely. I have been trying to find the problem and found "Disallow: /xmlrpc.php" in robots.txt. Could this affect Moz' tools ability to get the required data?

Ww.domain.com coming up with error
our domain is showing in moz with the following error in crawl reports Crawl Error We were unable to access your homepage, which prevented us from crawling the rest of your site. It is likely that other browsers as well as search engines may encounter this problem and abort their sessions. This could be a temporary outage, but we recommend making sure your network and server are working correctly. note that the url being displayed is ww.domain.com and not www.domain.com . we do not have a 301 in place, we have switched off wildcard forwarding from the server.. its acting as the url is a subdomain that is not working.. should i just ignore it?

My product pages have no weight / links from root domains with the Moz tool bar
Hi, When I view my home page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk) with the Moz toolbar, I see a good PA and a good amount of links from root domains. As I go down the site, it seems to get worse. The category pages (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Category/0/Straight_Foods.html) have a little but not much and then from this point onwards, it's nothing. The product page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods~Sunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html) is reporting to have no root domain links but I am not sure why. Interestingly, when I click through to a review page (http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/StockReview/0/SUNH/0/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html) it does have some juice. Would anyone be able help on why this is happening and what I need to be looking at in order to resolve it please? EDIT: I've been looking at the hyperlinks and notice something odd. If I review the score with the first link below, it gives a score of 1, but the second gives a PA of 13 with one root domain linked. 1:http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods~Sunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html 2:http://www.arkwildlife.co.uk/Item/Straight_Foods%7ESunflower_Seeds/SUNH/Premium_Sunflower_Hearts.html Please note the "%7E" instead of the "~" in the URL. The browser appears to show the ~ character no matter what but the rank of the page changes. I don't understand what the Moz toolbar is doing with this. Note: This behaviour only happens in Mozilla Firefox, in chrome both the rankings are zero for each URL. Many Thanks.

OSE Missing High Profile Linking Root Domains
Hi All, I have noticed that Open Site Explorer does not appear to be totally accurate in the linking root domains it shows for a given site. For instance, I have a site that I know for a fact is listed on dmoz (and has been for far longer than last Mozscape update), which should show up near the top of the stack. What gives? Do you think that this is also affecting my projected DA, PA, etc? Thoughts and theories welcome.
