Duplicate content - Product Categories
-
Dears,
I've use "Site Crawl" tool to find any SEO warnings, and I found 991 duplicated content. The problem is that the pages are not duplicated its all products category pages, please check this exmaple:
This page:
https://www.jobedu.com/en/shop/category/prints/Postcards/na/all-colors/all-size
and this page:
https://www.jobedu.com/en/shop/category/Accessories/keychain/na/all-colors/all-size
It said its duplicated, and it's 991 pages!
How to fix this this? what I can do?

It's best practice to include +/-100 word Category Descriptions above your product listings. Adding a useful and robust "buyers guide" below the products is also extremely helpful. I'd be less concerned about "duplicate content" warnings from crawlers if your pages are ranking well. We get plenty of warnings from DeepCrawl for pages that are ranking in the top 3 for highly competitive terms.

I looked at your source code and searched for product names and couldn't find any. This tell me that your products are being pulled in with JavaScript, which I confirmed by disabling/enabling JS, products don't show with it disabled. Since JS is populating your product lists, and that's the only real difference on each page, Moz is flagging it as duplicate because the source code is more than 90% the same. In order to fix this, you'll have to either pull in products a different way, or figure out a way to create unique content for each page that isn't rendered via JS.

Hi,
You need to categorize them as canonical url's (rel=canonical ), you can do this pretty simply in CMS's like Magento etc. - just Google for a guide
“Canonical links”, is an HTML element that helps webmasters prevent duplicate content issues. It does this by specifying the “canonical URL”, the “preferred” version of a web page. Using it well improves a site’s SEO. Source

Moz isn't recognizing content on our website hosted on bubble.is
Hi all. We have a bubble.is site and it's difficult to get Moz to recognize the text on the site (even though Google seems to recognize it most of the time). The pages are recognized...just not the text. **In case you want to play around: ** https:getmarlow.com/about https://getmarlow.com/article/gather-data-on-where-your-time-and-energy-go-1579415891021x868278876529492000

404s on paginated categories with rss feed in wordpress
Moz tells me I have 16 404 errors. They are all on paginated pages and end with rss. I checked all my settings and i do not know why it is doing this. https://sharlinlaw.com/author/ben-sharlin/page/7/rss the page 7 exists but not the rss feed on page 7. it also exists https://sharlinlaw.com/author/ben-sharlin/rss Just on pagination it is throwing 404ss. It is my understanding that this is a custom rss structure. I built this site and i did not set it up this way but moz crawler is flagging these, what should i do. I do not need rss to exist on pagination. Thanks for any responses to this issue, Don Silvernail

Should I set blog category/tag pages as "noindex"? If so, how do I prevent "meta noindex" Moz crawl errors for those pages?
From what I can tell, SEO experts recommend setting blog category and tag pages (ie. "http://site.com/blog/tag/some-product") as "noindex, follow" in order to keep the page quality of indexable pages high. However, I just received a slew of critical crawl warnings from Moz for having these pages set to "noindex." Should the pages be indexed? If not, why am I receiving critical crawl warnings from Moz and how do I prevent this?

Duplicate Content errors - not going away with canonical
I am getting Duplicate Content Errors reported by Moz on search result pages due to parameters. I went through the document on resolving Duplicate Content errors and implemented the canonical solution to resolve it. The canonical in the header has been in place for a few weeks now and Moz is still showing the pages as Duplicate Content despite the canonical reference. Is this a Moz bug? http://mathematica-mpr.com/news/?facet={81C018ED-CEB9-477D-AFCC-1E6989A1D6CF}

'Duplicate Page Content' for dissimilar pages
I'm using Moz's Crawl Diagnostics to try and clean up some SEO priorities for our website (http://www.craftcompany.co.uk) HOWEVER, virtually all of the pages that are being categorised as duplicate content are not the same, or indeed similar. For instance, these three pages have been deemed duplicated pages; http://www.craftcompany.co.uk/pme-rose-leaf-veined-plunger.html http://www.craftcompany.co.uk/double-faced-satin-ribbon-black-25mm-wide.html http://www.craftcompany.co.uk/double-faced-satin-maroon-10mm-wide-25mt.html Can anyone give me an insight into why this is? Many Thanks! http://www.craftcompany.co.uk/

Forward slash on URL on Duplicate Content Report
Hi I'm new to this whole Moz thing, so needing help from some kind people! I've just looked at my Duplicate Page Content report and there are loads of URLs in there which are the same but are just differentiated by adding / at the end of the URL, e.g. http://youngepilepsy.org.uk/news-and-events/events http://youngepilepsy.org.uk/news-and-events/events/ Is this be a canonical issue? I can't understand why though as these aren't at the root. However when we add inline text links within the page HTML, there are some URLs with / and some without, could that be the reason? Thanks for your help! Jackie

Crawl diagnostics incorrectly reporting duplicate page titles
Hi guys, I have a question in regards to the duplicate page titles being reported in my crawl diagnostics. It appears that the URL parameter "?ctm" is causing the crawler to think that duplicate pages exist. In GWT, we've specified to use the representative URL when that parameter is used. It appears to be working, since when I search site:http://www.causes.com/about?ctm=home, I am served a single search result for www.causes.com/about. That begs the question, why is the SEOMoz crawler saying there is duplicate page titles when Google isn't (doesn't appear under the HTML improvements for duplicate page titles)? A canonical URL is not used for this page so I'm assuming that may be one reason why. The only other thing I can think of is that Google's crawler is simply "smarter" than the Moz crawler (no offense, you guys put out an awesome product!). Any help is greatly appreciated and I'm looking forward to being an active participant in the Q&A community! Cheers, Brad

Can't find duplicate page content
Hi all. I'm trying to create a report to list all of my site's duplicate content that SEOmoz says we have. However when I click on the link it just shows me the title and description of the page. I don't know what the other page is that has duplicate content or what the duplicate content is. Where do I find this information? Thanks in advance!
