Inbound links not found in Moz Pro(though they exist)
-
These sites have many inbound links but Moz Pro finds no such links. I also used SimilarWebPro Trial to confirm the existing of such links. (these sites have IP block so it requires an VPN to access with Japan IP)
Could anyone figure out why Moz can't find those links to those sites? Any tricks in place to hide those links from SeoMoz?
If I pay to upgrade SimilarWebPro but Id rather stay with SeoMoz Pro.
thanks in advance.

Hey there! Tawny from Moz's Help Team here.
I think the reason you're not able to find inbound links for those sites is just what you mentioned: you need a VPN to be able to access the sites with a Japan IP address. Our tools won't be able to get around that IP block, so we won't be able to find links pointing back to those sites. Sorry about that!If you have any more questions we can help with, feel free to send us a note at [email protected] and we'll do our best to answer all your questions.

Moz Pro OSE is great, but if you are doing an in-depth inbound link analysis, it is a good idea to cross-reference with Ahrefs, Majestic SEO, and/or SEMrush as well. Usually these tools will show different numbers for unique domains and total backlinks. This is of course not taking into account the IP block you mentioned above.

I think you answered your own question: "these sites have IP block so it requires an VPN to access with Japan IP"

Moz Pro: Filter inbound links by partial anchor text?
My site has been targeted by a spam farm with hundreds of different domains, all linking to images on our CDN with similar variations of anchor text, eg: get free high quality hd wallpapers wedding cake makers
Link Explorer | | James_NZ
get free high quality hd wallpapers hairstyle makeover
get free high quality hd wallpapers living room cafe
etc Is it possible within Moz Pro to filter all incoming links with anchor text including "free high quality hd wallpapers" so that I can disavow all of the domains en masse? So far I've only been able to display/download the list of links exactly matching the full anchor text which is very time-consuming with 100+ variations. Regards,

No backlinks reporting in MOZ OSE?
We have a bunch of links and none of them report in MOZ OSE. Does the MOZ OSE tool have a cache that takes a while to refresh? We have recently moved over to CloudFlare and since the move the numbers do not add up. Here is a link to a ahrefs screenshot. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. moz.png

How can I get links indexed in Just Discovered Links, or Open site Explorer? (Because it aint Bit.ly or Feedly!)
Dear Moz & Forum, I've been on a bit of a merry-go-round with one of my clients. He knows enough about SEO to ask questions, and one thing he likes is to see the links that we are building inside Open Site Explorer. Now, of course we know that it takes a while for links to show, but that was ok, because we could just plug the links that we've built into a bit.ly link and then they'd show under Just Discovered Links in Open Site Explorer, and then boom, we're happy. It stopped working some time ago, and after the support team were a little unstuck I sent a hopeful tweet to @randfish. Here is the response: https://twitter.com/randfish/status/788412272129347584 The advice to use Bit.Ly was removed swiftly after this! Oops! The current Guidance is here: https://mza.bundledseo.com/help/guides/research-tools/open-site-explorer/justdiscovered It says: Want to see your new link in the Just-Discovered Links tab? An easy way to start seeing your link in the Just-Discovered section is to have it shared on Twitter and available on Feedly link. Feedly stopped supporting their own link shortner a few years ago. Also, when you share a link from Feedly on twitter it is just the same as sharing a normal tweet, because it shares the standard URL for the site not a link to view on Feedly. Or, maybe these two statements are independant of one another and they should both be done separately? I've done that too! I've also added the feed to recommended feeds inside fresh web explorer and that didn't work either! So, Moz and Help team please help me! How can I get links I've built for clients into Just Discovered Links? Thank you!

How Is a Page Crawled by Moz When Moz Says 'No Links'?
As above, really. I've crawled a new client's site to find the Moz crawler has identified a handful of 404 errors. The Moz crawler says these pages have '0 linking domains', and OSE has no data for these pages. So how are these pages being crawled by Moz and what should I advise my client?
