Difference forum and QA

I read the post about question and answer on your blog
What is from SEO view the difference between a forum and QA ?

Agreed, This is like Yahoo answers, old Google answers, or Amazon's askville.
-
A good Q&A will have only one answer (editorial content) or have several ways to make the question and the answer have a good quality (content and SEO). This is done with moderation or social features (best answers, etc.). Content is targeted and under control.
A forum will be much more free, their is no best answer put in the first page just after the question, the topic may not be a question too, you can have very various contents. Also, forums have some very difficult SEO problems with duplicate content, empty pages and more.

Q&A sites tend to be more SEO friendly because of things like "related questions", "tag clouds" etc.
They tend to work more like blogs with comments rather than forums.
As the articel suggests, more people are searching using questions nowadays - e.g. "where can i get an iphone" as opposed to "buy iphone". Q&A sites lend themselves to ranking highly for this type of query.
The article also suggests, and I'm inclined to agree, that Google likes to show content from different data sources in it's top positions. Given the web trends towards Q&A sites, my personal views is that Google are more likely to rank a Q&A site higher than a forum (given all things are equal).

Domain Authority and Page authority for external links. What's the difference in value?
Hi Guys. I understand the difference between page authority and domain authority in terms of how likely that page is to rank. But what about a links from a high DA site, but from a low PA page? We’ve identified a client with extremely high DA (73/100), but their blog page has a PA of 1/100. Would a link from this page be pretty much valueless due to the low PA? Or would it still be quite strong as the DA is so high? Perhaps you could point me to some good reading or Moz post on this topic? Thanks guys. Isaac.

Is it possible to do local SEO for 2 different business locations in same state?
Since you have to be consistent in all your review website information (business name, street, etc.) is it possible to have a website rank for both of their business locations which are about 50 miles from one another in the same state or do they have to pick just one location to promote offsite?

2 links going to same domain but different pages
Hi, How is the link juice distributed when you have 2 links in the same article but they go to different pages on the same domain? I know some say if 2 links go to the same page in an article then only the first link passes juice. Would it be better to have 2 articles each having 1 link or 2 articles each having 2 links?

Open Site Explorer and comparing links of competitors , then export the differences?
Hi, I'm totally new to this community so please forgive me if this question is a bit dumb.

A client of mine is trying to get better rankings for a specific keyword and if we check out the competition we notice that our site has way better and more unique content. The tools here at SEOmoz indicates that the competitor sites have more authority, and so probably more backlinks. With the Open Site Explorer I can quickly see what sites are linking to competitor sites.
And since we're in the same country and trying to rank for the same keywords we also are after the same backlinks. Now there are a few that my client is missing compared to the competitors.
So I would love to get a document that tell us what backlinks we are missing instead of
downloading many reports and do all the checks manually. Is this possible? Thank you,

Can I Gather Inbound Links from Different Subject External Websites?
I am working on link building campaign and trying to gather inbound links from various subject external websites. I have big confusion with this effort. I am working on eCommerce website and getting inbound links from technology related website. So, Does it really matter for better performance? I want to give one example to get more idea. I am selling table lamps on my website and trying to get inbound links from that kind of websites which are highly dominating to table lamps or lighting industry. But, This is not only one case. Sometime, I have opportunities to create inbound links from different subject website. Simply, If I will compile one content for UGC section on SEOmoz and links to my website with table lamps so, Will it help me to rank for table lamps keyword? Exact match hyperlinks on external website always matter::: That I aware about it. But, what about subject orientation. I am Table Lamps monster & you are SEO monster. So, Will Google give benefit to that kind of links which are dominating different subject? I have solved some issues about quality of website after installing SEOmoz toolbar in my browser. Because, I or We are visiting multiple websites during daily stuff and may find out opportunities to drop our website link over there. But, I have fear to drop my website link in any website. Does it really matter quality or website & How can I judge it better rather than SEOmoz toolbar? I have added such a big question with proper declaration but, I want to jump in to link building campaign and want to earn good value after my long term effort.

One website with different niches/keywords.
Hello Mozzers! I am currently building a website, which basically contains information from different niches. Let's make it clear: My website is something like eHow. The idea is to write quality articles, written especially to give the searcher the right information, without any scam, product advertisement or etc. The incomes are from AdSense. Actually I got inspired for this website from the Google Panda update. So... my question is - would it be harder to rank with such a website(domain name) that contains different niches and keyword phrases? Lets change a lil bit the situation and show you an example - I am trying to rank with keyword "how to make nice cheezeburgers" with http://theanswer.org/how-to-make-nice-cheezeburgers/ . At the same time I am also trying to rank with "The best movies of all times" with http://theanswer.org/the-best-movies-of-all-times/ . Thank you, Ralchev 🙂

Dripable.com and dripfeed.com. I really see no value whatsoever in any service like this. If anyone has an opinion that differs from mine. Go ahead.
I cant believe people are still using services like this. The interesting thing is that they do seem to offer great customer service, but that "service" seems to only spin comment spam and back profile backlinks. Id love for our community to discuss more sites like this so that Junior SEO's or people just starting dong get wooed by the promise of AWESOME links. Cheers,
