My site www.gunshotdigital.com has been losing traffic since the last month.
I have no actual reason as to why this may be, I have not changed anything on the site either so I am totally baffeled.
Can one of you awesome experts pl let me know why this may be?
Thank you so much in advance,
Vijay

Click on traffic sources, which source is dropping? A certain engine? PPC? Are the same keywords driving traffic?

That will be a better description than I could give. It will be in the upper right when you sign in to GA! Good Luck!
-
Have you noticed any change in your ranking positions?
-
thank you, can you let me know how to set up a comparison date? thanks Aaron.
-
Set up a comparison date in GA and look at all of the traffic sources, is there one that has dropped significantly. This is such a broad question but that would be a good place to start looking.
-
hi Matt,
yes I am all set with GA etc and there is still a steady drop. I am baffled ,
-
Hi Vijay - Are you set up with Google analytics? If so, can you detect any drop in Google search traffic (organic) specifically? What date exactly did you notice the drop off? It potentially could be linked to Google's Panda update. Thanks.

Homepage has dropped out of search results
As of 9/12, my homepage has dropped out of the SERPs. If you google my business name (Sumy Designs) it shows other pages in my site, my Facebook page, etc, but not the homepage. My sitelinks are gone too. It IS still indexed, which you can see if you do site:sumydesigns.com I had been ranking for about 15 keywords that have all been lost since my homepage has disappeared. Here's what I know: There are no manual actions. The homepage is still being indexed, it's just not showing up for any keywords, even my brand Nothing has changed in terms of content, I have been a near daily blogger for several years There's no indication of a problem in search console The drop only appears to be affecting desktop searches, mobile search it still shows up which seems pretty weird. I would love any ideas as to what could be causing this disappearance.

My traffic keeps going down...
My website been through many changes the last 5 months. From migrating http to https, server transfer and more. Everything was double checked all the redirects are perfect (301) to the https pages (we have like 28K backlinks so everything needs to be correct), in a matter of fact the migration to ssl made in October and in November the stats went high. The problem is that at the end of November after the server migration the traffic went down and is stably down till today. We re-checked the redirects in every aspect and more in depth and finished fixing issues around end of January. Also before 1 week we stopped the functionality of a parameter (product sort) and removed it from the website entirelly and canonicaled the urls that were using it so if google tries to test those urls with the parameter to see a canonical tag and eventually drop them out of index and stop crawling them. Generally we tried to fix the crawling efficiency and speed. The technical SEO was on fire the last weeks. Still i cant see improvement in rankings, i only see drops. What is the problem here? Where should i look? Any ideas? In webmaster tools we have no 404's and no manual actions. The visibility in Sistrix goes down (check attachment), the ahrefs organic traffic goes down, semrush stats go down... My website is: https://www.pccdkeys.com ecfp87

Organic Traffic Down March-April 2016
Hello MOZ Community! I have been scouring the web to try and assess what may be responsible for our sites traffic decline which fell off quite suddenly between March and April of this year. While I have heard of two specific things that may have impacted us: The Mobile-Friendly update (April 2016) Phantom Update (May 2016) I would like to share what we have tried to uncover ourselves, and would welcome your thoughts/feedback on what may have happened, thoughts on repairing the rank damage, and in general. In May we noticed a large cooling off of our organic searches from Google, the largest a >30% occured in June, but on average we're seeing a trend of 23% less visitors from organic search than only months prior. Paired with this was a decrease in overall visibility, like a number of pages were struck from indexing. The number of URLs ranked in the Top 100 listings dropped by ~ 32% at the beginning of April We review our visibility with SISTRIX's Visibility Index tool, which showed a visibility plummet of almost 50% between mid-March and mid-April Traffic, until towards the end of July, early August has remained low and now only really returning to normal levels in the past few days. All that said, we're puzzled by what would cause such a sharp decline in visibility > organic search. Regarding the known/unknown Google Updates, while our primary site is responsive, we do have a number of old help/support pages that are not responsive – So that is one theory, but I'd appreciate any thoughts or insights you have, or to know if anyone else experienced a drop within the same timeframe.

Sudden traffic down after mobile site
Hi to all. I have a huge problem about my web site traffic. We published our mobile site version under mobile domain in m.etilercerrental.com. And we published mobile site sitemap under main site such as sitemap-mobile.xml and notify google from webmaster tools. After a while whole site traffic gone down so badly. Almost 60% gone down which doesnt make sense. Mobile sitemap is hosted under desktop site. And we didnt add any link to switch sites between mobile and desktop version. We automaticly redirect between desktop and mobile versiyons by detecting useragent. One another this is we have announcement section in dekstop version but we dont have it in mobile. But we are not making any redirection to mobile site when user visits the announcement section even by mobile phone. Because we are not displaying it in mobile version.

One last this is we are making redirections automatically and not asking user preference such as showing a link in the bottom of page to switch sites betwenn mobile and pc version. While developing mobile site we followed instructions in this https://developers.google.com/webmasters/smartphone-sites/?hl=tr For find the details I would like to give you some site urls. Sudden MozRank drop?
My site's MozRank dropped abruptly from 3.5 to 3 from September to October. MozRank had been steadily climbing until then and there were no changes made to the site in that time period. What may have happened?

Huge drop for main branded keyword
The past week the main branded keyword for a site i am working on has dropped from the top three on Google US to page 7! It is still ranking in the top three on Google in other areas. I recently redirected /index.php to / using .htaccess. Could this have caused a problem? If not, what else could have caused such a huge drop?

Does the Referral Traffic from a Link Influence the SEO Value of that Link?
If a link exists, and nobody clicks on it, could it still be valuable for SEO? Say I have 1000 links on 500 sites with Domain Authority ranging from 35 to 80. Let's pretend that 900 of those links generate referral traffic. Let's assume that the remaining 100 links are spread between 10 domains of the 500, but nobody ever clicks on them. Are they still valuable? Should an SEO seek to earn more links like those, even though they don't earn referral traffic? Does Google take referral data into account in evaluating links? 5343313-zelda-rogers-albums-zelda-pictures-duh-what-else-would-they-be-picture3672t-link-looks-so-lonely.jpg Sad%20little%20link.jpg
