Hi can anyone recommend some good hosting companies in the UK as my hosting company are now considering charging for technical advice.

I use some standard packages as well as a dedicated server and would be grateful if you could give me some examples on prices as well as service which includes technical service.

How can I fix this home page crawl error ?

My website shows this crawl error => 612 : Home page banned by error response for robots.txt. I also did not get any page data in my account for this website ... I did get keyword rankings and traffic data, I am guessing from the analytics account. url = www.mississaugakids.com Not sure really what to do with this ! Any help is greatly appreciated.

What can I do to stop ranking for a keyword that has nothing to do with the companies website?

A website that we maintain keeps ranking for the keyword 'homeless shelter'. The company is UTILIS USA and they produce heavy duty shelters for military personnel. They have nothing to do with homeless shelters but continue to receive traffic concerning the phrase.

Can anyone help me understand why google is "Not Selecting" a large number of my webpages to include when crawling my site.

Rackspace UK Cloud IP - Traceroute

Hello, I recently moved to rackspace and before i signed made sure with them that i would get a UK based IP. It is a Cloud hosting solution. I have checked with whois and a few other sites and the IP is being shown as US, they asked me to do a traceroute and it shows up in the UK: http://network-tools.com/default.asp?prog=trace&host=164.177.146.74 can anyone confirm if this is UK based and ok from an seo point of view as we are targeting a UK audience. Is Buying Domains Good For SEO? Can I 301 redirect domains to an Original website?

I have a friend that purchased multiple domains related to their website. Each of these domains have the back ground of the original website and irrelevant content on them. Is is possible to redirect the various domains to certain pages on the original website. For example if the website is www.shoes.com and they purchased domains such as www.leathermensshoes.com and a few others related to the website. Is it SEO friendly to link the domains purchased to the original website?
