Would this be considered keyword cannabalization?
-
If I have an article, titled 7 signs of unhealthy eating and the title tag for five different pages looks like this:
keyword | article title
ex: Binge Eating | 7 Signs of Unhealthy Eating
ex: Lack of Fruits & Vegetables | 7 Signs of Unhealthy Eating
etc, etc.

Hi Michelle.
The article you link to describes pagination issues. That is where you have a single topic whose length extends the page so you see multiple pages (page-2, page-3, etc). That has no relation to what I described, although it could be a factor with the solution EGOL shared.
Keyword cannibalization happens when you have multiple pages on your site competing for search engine traffic for the same key word. That does not happen in this solution.

Wouldn't technique #1 described here http://www.searchenginejournal.com/pagination-and-duplicate-content-issues/7204/ be an example of keyword cannibalization as well?
-
I would publish ALL of this information on a big single kickass page using your "Seven Signs" as subheadings. At the top of your page there would be a nice article menu that contains anchor text links that shoot the visitor down to the sections of the article. These are powerful for optimization.
People who land on this page will faint when they see all of this information in a huge authoritative page. An impressive presentation like this can attract a lot of links if you do a good job.
Just one concern.... I hope that your article has better punctuation, grammar, capitalization and format than your question here. It would also be a good idea to avoid the etc. etc. stuff - replacing it with clear detailed descriptions. I am not trying to be mean with this comment but hoping to kick you up a notch in your asking questions here and in your writing in general.
Good luck!

Yes, that would be an example of cannibalization.
If you were going to write an article with that tile, I would recommend offering 8 pages. Page 1 would be titled "7 Signs of Unhealthy Eating". It would list the 7 signs, and each list item would be a text link to the page which addressed that topic.
Page 1 title: 7 Signs of Unhealthy Eating
Page 2 title: Binge Eating

Keywords are indexed on the home page
Hello everyone, For one of our websites, we have optimized for many keywords. However, it seems that every keyword is indexed on the home page, and thus not ranked properly. This occurs only on one of our many websites. I am wondering if anyone knows the cause of this issue, and how to solve it. Thank you.

Would these be considered dynamic URLs?
Hi, I have a (brand) new client (outdoor recreation), and it links to many different lodges. It's built in Wordpress (Pagelines), and the partner page link URLs. Although they do have the "?" in there, it's only has a single parameter. http://www.clientsite/?partners=partner-name Google is indexing the URLs, I do plan to increase the amount of content/on-page for each. Yet, weighing the risk/reward of rewriting all of these URLs.

Is using splash pages considered cloaking?
For example I'm thinking of running people through a squeeze page when they come from search engines (for first time visitors only/cookied) ... example: http://www.whitehouse.gov/ Is it going to hurt SEO? Because basically you are serving a page that is different, than the one displayed in the SERP's.

Different pages first results on same keyword search
Hi, Sometimes Google does not show the page you intended for a certain keyword. Logically you would say that the intended page is not relevant/strong enough. But in my case several pages ranked fine for a long period of time and all of a sudden another less important page gets the highest result on a keyword search. (We are in the camping business) For instance: One of our campsites called Tenuta primero used to rank position 9 in google with page below for a long time (search: 'camping tenuta primero') This was the page we intended to rank with. http://www.suncamp.nl/nl/nl/campings/italie/friuli-venezia-giulia/camping-tenuta-primero/uc19-l1-n797-c13-r115-cp104959/ Now all of a sudden the position for search 'camping tenuta primero' is position 33 with review page below. http://www.suncamp.nl/nl/nl/campings/italie/friuli-venezia-giulia/camping-tenuta-primero/beoordelingen/uc19-l1-n797-c13-r115-cp104959-t22598/ What could have caused this? Pages are in Dutch but main keywords are camping are tenuta primero. Thank you very much in advance! Kind regards, Dennis Overbeek [email protected] | www.suncamp.nl |

Keyword stuffing
I'm working on this page at the moment - http://www.gear-zone.co.uk/berghaus-bid6.html. The keyword we're going for is, unsurprisingly, 'Berghaus'. The SEOmoz on page report has flagged up a possible issue with keyword stuffing as the term is mention around 25 times. Is it worth altering this, which could be quite tricky as a lot of the page is dynamically generated? Thanks!
