Time taken for inclusion in index

After a page is crawled, how much time does it take to be included in Google's index ? Immediately ? after few days ?

I recall seeing a question you asked about Google + a day or so ago, but I did not know the answer to it. Sorry.
I would suggest you at least provide a link to the question otherwise no one will find it.

There is not any published standard on how frequently Google will discover new content on your site. There are too many factors ranging from your DA (which is not actually a Google metric), how deep the page is in your site, how well linked the page is both internally and externally, etc.
It could be that Google was planning to visit your site, you post an article, and they find it right away. It could also happen then Google just left your site, you post an article and they may not find it for a week or more.
The normal rules of SEO apply. If your article is important then either add a snippet to your landing page or at least link directly to it from your landing page. Work immediately to earn links to the article, tweet it, etc. Send Google an updated sitemap with a link to the article. All of these activities can indicate to Google your content is important and should be indexed.

I missed the last point. That's what i would like to know. I mean for a normal website, there must be some time delay in crawling and indexing. Not every site has a DA of 87 !

When Google crawls a page it is immediately added to the index, assuming they decide to index the page.
Want proof? When I look at this Q&A I see "Posted by Atul Sharma about 1 hour ago". When I search Google for this Q&A title I find this result.
Keep in mind SEOmoz has a DA of 87 which is why Google crawls this site so frequently.

Site no indexed after a week loadbalancer, cache-control?
hi All apologies to everybody in advance my level of SEO or technical stuff is quite minimal. we have setup a new site with a top level domain sitting on multiple servers ( https.www.mysite/new/ on one and http.wwww.mysites/old/ on another) different pages,content etc. it's definitely a patchy solution until what is left in the old server will be migrated to the new one. however the new site is still not indexed after around 2 weeks. I have checke on moz and and google console ( fetch and rendering) and nothing seem to block indexing. no issue with robot.txt ( either on https.www.mysite/new/robots.txt or http.wwww.mysites/old/robots.txt) meta-robot. any idea on what could cause the problem? can it be an issue with the cache-control set as : no-store no-cache? Or the loadbalancer that is preventing google to access ? Dario

Meta Titles On Site Different From Google Index Page
This is very embarrassing but I hope someone can help. The Meta Titles on my site are not being shown correctly on the Google site index. For example, when I got directly to the page the appropriate page title is shown obviously. However when I go view that page on Google, the title in completely different. Page title: <a class="attribute-value">Web Design, SEO, PPC, Mobile Development In Philadelphia, Bucks| Infinity Digital Agency</a> Google Shows: Our Services - Infinity Digital Agency Here is the result page. Using Canonical & INDEX, FOLLOW meta tag
I am sort of new to this, and working with an overseas development team on an eCommerce site. I am curious if the Canonical tag will supersede the tag, or if it is best to remove this tag entirely for duplicate product pages?

When You Add a Robots.txt file to a website to block certain URLs, do they disappear from Google's index?
I have seen several websites recently that have have far too many webpages indexed by Google, because for each blog post they publish, Google might index the following: www.mywebsite.com/blog/title-of-post www.mywebsite.com/blog/tag/tag1 www.mywebsite.com/blog/tag/tag2 www.mywebsite.com/blog/category/categoryA etc My question is: if you add a robots.txt file that tells Google NOT to index pages in the "tag" and "category" folder, does that mean that the previously indexed pages will eventually disappear from Google's index? Or does it just mean that newly created pages won't get added to the index? Or does it mean nothing at all? thanks for any insight!

Having a terrible time ordering the CSS Styles and Scripts in my header
Hi Guys, I am having a terrible time trying to get the correct optimized (for speed, none blocking etc) order for loading my external css and JS. I follow the recommendations from Google Page Speed or Chrome Audit and it seems no matter where I move the CSS file too (top or bottom) it complains about more blocking and stopping rendering of the page. Has anyone gone from shared hosting godaddy to either virtual or dedicated with godaddy or even another provider and noticed faster load times without changing anything on your site. Any recommendations on hosting providers?

Missing meta descriptions on indexed pages, portfolio, tags, author and archive pages. I am using SEO all in one, any advice?
I am having a few problems that I can't seem to work out.....I am fairly new to this and can't seem to work out the following: Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂 1. I am missing alot of meta description tags. I have installed "All in One SEO" but there seems to be no options to add meta descriptions in portfolio posts. I have also written meta descriptions for 'tags' and whilst I can see them in WP they don't seem to be activated. 2. The blog has pages indexed by WP- called Part 2 (/page/2), Part 3 (/page/3) etc. How do I solve this issue of meta descriptions and indexed pages? 3. There is also a page for myself, the author, that has multiple indexes for all the blog posts I have written, and I can't edit these archives to add meta descriptions. This also applies to the month archives for the blog. 4. Also, SEOmoz tells me that I have too many links on my blog page (also indexed) and their consequent tags. Why isn't Google indexing me?
Recently got handed off a .org site for a quasi state agency here in Michigan. Turns out the developer had the site live for the past six months but left the noindex, nofollow tag on everything so the site was invisible to search engines. Obviously we wiped all of those things a couple weeks ago when we got started, added all of our sitemaps to bing/yahoo/google webmaster tools and we've already started getting indexed by yahoo and bing and showing up for branded terms...but NOTHING from Google. WMT says our pages are all indexed, but we aren't showing up for anything in search and we don't seem to be indexed at all. Granted, if this site was brand new and didn't have any links I could see us taking a little time to get found, but this site has very good .gov and .edu links, plus we've built some other solid links to it since we've launched and Google continues to ignore it. I haven't seen this before, but could Google still be ignoring us from the months of noindex, nofollowing? If so, any tips on how to get back in teh Google's good graces here?
