SEOMOZ Canonical notices using Wordpress
-
I keeping getting the notice from SEO Moz Crawls relating to Canonical issues. I have tried Yoast SEO, All-in-One SEO and both insert the appropriate canonical code... Can anyone help determine why the crawls report this notice? Check out seoontario.ca\testamonials for an example. Could it be because the site in my SEOMOZ crawl does not have the http:// prefix?
I've now installed FV Simpler SEO, a variant of All In Once SEO, but am getting the same canonical code...

Hey Kevin
Just hit the help button and it will explain a notice to you.
Basically it is just info about your site and due to the canonical tag having a massive effect on a site it is worth paying attention to.
For example if you were working on a new client and it reported each page had a canonical tag then you would want to check they were correct.
Hope that helps

Seomoz legacy pages?
Hello, I am finding that I miss several of the old seomoz sections. The legacy tools in particular like the visual website comparison. Where is that now? Also, where is the ongoing list of the top 100 sites? So much was lost in the shift to MOZ, I hope some of the good old stuff is still available. Thank you, Nolan

Adding canonical still returns duplicate pages
According to SEOmoz, several of my campaigns show that I have duplicate pages (SEOmoz Errors). Upon reading more about how to resolve the issue, I followed SEOmoz's suggestion to add rel='canonical' <links>to each page. After the next SEOmoz crawl, the number of SEOmoz Errors related to duplicate pages remained the same and the number of SEOmoz notices shot up indicating that it recognized that I added rel='canonical'.</links> I'm still puzzled as to why the SEOmoz errors did not go down with respect to duplicate page errors after I added rel='canonical', especially since SEOmoz noticed that I added them. Can anyone explain this to me? Thanks,

Do I have to set up new SEOmoz campaigns after URL switch?
We switched hundreds of pages on our website from dynamic to static URLs (and optimized the static URLs for keywords), and did 301 redirects to the new URLs. Also submitted a new sitemap to Google. This was about a week ago. For my existing SEOmoz campaigns that have crawled since then, it looks like SEOmoz is still looking at all of the old dynamic URLs. Do I have to set up new campaigns with the same keywords in order to get SEOmoz to look at the new URLs, or will the SEOmoz crawlers figure it out over time? Or am I doing something wrong? Thanks for your help!

Is there a keyword suggestion tool available in the SEOMOZ suite of tools?
Is there a keyword suggestion tool available in the SEOMOZ suite of tools that is similar to semrush.com? semrush allows you to put in a URL and then will tell you what keywords you rank for. Looking for a good tool that is similar.

Have I got Rel Canonical or not?
I have 180 warnings of rel=canonical. The exact wording says this: Using rel=canonical suggests to search engines which URL should be seen as canonical. First - I don't know what that means - is that a good thing of bad thing? Second - Because of the above question, Im not sure if I have it or should have or it do have it but shouldn't. Which should I have? What should it look like? How do I fix it? Also, I have notices that say 'issue: 301 redirect' and a line about what a 301 redirect is. Again, do I have it, or not have it, should I have it? Do I have it but shouldn't?

SEOMoz site crawlers created an issue for our servers
I have set up a number of campaigns with your pro tool. Unfortunately we have 7 sites on our server and our IT dept have said that we had an issue when your site crawlers visited for several sites at the same time - is there any way that I can retain the campaigns but have the sites crawled on request rather than automatically?
