Linking Facebook - Twitter - Website - G+ Profiles

During a spectacular presentation at Seattle Interactive Conference, Rand discussed how Google is able to see linkage between different social networks and a Google profile. Outside of setting up your Twitter feed to send loads of messages to your Facebook fans (or vice versa), is there a best way to communicate the "linkage" between your social media profiles to the search engines?
Eg - How do you best signal to Google that your Twitter, Facebook, G+ and your website are from the same entity?

On Google+ you can link up to other social profiles within the about me section.
You can link up to other profiles in the about section on Facebook pages or the info tab.
On Twitter you can link up in the about me, but limited text.
Use your main website to link up all the profiles too
That is your home base for linking out to all your social areas. -
I would start by filling out the "Other Profiles" area on your Google Plus account. I'd also link my facebook, twitter and linkedin accounts so that you can share your updates between all of your social networks.

Working with a company who has about 20K followers on Facebook and about 500 backlinks to their current facebook page. They want to change the name of the page to better reflect the business. What do you do when your Facebook page is Unpublished?
The page in question has been there for about 5 years and has about 80 followers. It is for a business that sells steel plate (B2B) and everything is totally compliant with Facebook T&C as far as I can tell. It's been unpublished with the statement "Your Page has been unpublished and it cannot be published again." We did an appeal about 6 weeks ago and heard absolutely nothing.... Generally we got no likes, no comments and reached about 20 people with each post. So I am lost as to why we were banned and lost as to what we do next It's fine if they want to unpublish - it's their site - what's frustrating is the arbitrariness, the lack of information as to why it was banned and lack of communication. I'm trying to rank one of my client's Facebook link on Google. It was on page 3, few months back but now It is no where. Content Marketing - what to post on their facebook page
Hello, I'm doing content marketing for an article that is helpful in our industry. When I'm building a relationship with a website, on Facebook I first like their page. Then, I'm liking and sharing a couple of recent posts that stand out and are related to our site. Should I read their recent blog posts and comment on their facebook page thanking them that what I read was helpful while posting a link to their blog post? Or should I post something else on their facebook page? Or should I not post on someone else's facebook page? Thanks.

How to Analyze Twitter Followers
I'm working on an infographic and I need a way to analyse the followers of about 25 to 50 industry twitter accounts to figure what type of people their followers are. twittersheep.com used to do exactly this, look at the profile description area of twitter and produce a tag cloud of a given twitter account's followers based on terms from their profile fields. But they are no longer online. Anyone know of another service that does this ? Or can think of another way to get this data.

Do social media buttons work better "within" a website or "outside" of a website?
Websites like techcrunch.com include the social media buttons (+1, FB like, linkedin etc.) to the left of their articles so they seem to float outside of the content. Some even let the social media buttons wander while scrolling, so that they are always visible (e.g. here: http://www.kirstenwinkler.com/news-from-palabea-and-how-to-prepare-kids-for-tomorrow/). The "traditional" way has been to include the buttons within the content, e.g. on top of the article or on the right hand side. I was wondering which alternative has the largest impact. Intuitively "outside" of the content should be more visible as it "breaks" with the website design. Has anyone done an empirical test which version gets more clicks?
