Website not responding to web request
-
Hi,
I'm attempting to create a campaign, but the website I want to analyse won't allow SEOmoz to crawl the site stating that the site does not allow 'web requests' - can anything be done about this?
Thanks,
Adam

Hey Adam, You can skip past the error if your site is live. It just means our ping to it timed out. I would just skip that error and move on with the campaign creation!
Here is some more info on creating a campaign: https://seomoz.zendesk.com/entries/20887168-campaign-set-up Hope this can shed some light on the issues. Best, Nick

Sounds like your Robots.txt file is set to disallow or something similar. Is the site indexed in the SE's?

Is there an easy way to switch hundreds of websites to https in GSC?
My company has hundreds of websites setup in Google Search Console but will soon be moving them all to secure domains. Is there an easy way to make the switch in GSC or do we have to change the address one by one?

Main Website Redirects to Mobile Website, Mobile Website counts this as direct traffic, is there a way to tell what the source/medium is?
Hello, The situation is that someone is arriving on my main website https://www.example.com and being redirected to http://m.example.com. When this happens my analytics says that the traffic is all direct coming to my mobile site. However, I know people clicking on my google cpc, and some google organic users are hitting the main website and being redirected. Before we didn't have as good of a redirect on our main website so I could tell organic and cpc traffic coming in, now my main website has a huge drop in these categories because they are redirecting to mobile but I can't tell on my mobile how much traffic from each is going to the mobile site. Is there a way to fix this? Is it because my main website is https:// and mobile is a http:// (as I know that sometimes makes traffic direct) or is it a bigger problem that can't be resolved? Thanks

Migrated website but Google Analytics still displays old URL's and none new?!
I migrated a website from a .aspx to a .php and hence had to 301 all the old urls to the new php ones. It's been months after and I'm not seeing any of the php pages showing results but I'm still getting results from the old .aspx pages. Has any one had any experience with this issue or knows what to do? Many thanks,

Analytics options for website builder
I'm working on a website builder with a few friends and we would like to track traffic statistics for each site built on our platform. We're looking for a solution to dynamically generate analytics for each site published on our platform. I've used Google Analytics for a number of years, but I'm not sure if it's capable of doing something like what we're looking for. Any chance someone could throw me a bone? Thank you in advance!

Contacting web partners (syndicators)
In Analytics, you can see all the referrers who linked to you over a particular time period. For example, I can go to my referrer list for May and see everyone who linked to me (traffic sources>sources>referrals). What I want to do is contact all the websites who went one month without linking to me. I know how to select the time frame and download the list. But what is the best way to compare the two lists then filter out those websites who need to be contacted? It's tough to express, but I am hoping I am clear enough for you guys to understand what I am trying to accomplish.

http://www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com Sorry this might be long but I’m trying to be as thorough as possible. I thought that I had been hacked, a virus, maybe penalized by Google I don’t know what ? I submitted a reconsideration request to Google and they responded with the following: Reconsideration request for http://www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com/: No manual spam actions found
May 10, 2012
Dear site owner or webmaster of http://www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com/,
We received a request from a site owner to reconsider http://www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com/ for compliance with Google's Webmaster Guidelines. - - - - - -
We reviewed your site and found no manual actions by the webspam team that might affect your site's ranking in Google. There's no need to file a reconsideration request for your site, because any ranking issues you may be experiencing are not related to a manual action taken by the webspam team.
Google Search Quality Team I have ran all kinds of web crawl tests, Google webmaster, talked with SEO “Experts” and still can not figure out what is happening. I decided to use a couple of SEOmoz tools to try to help me explain what is happening. I figured that if I could take a very specific and unique KeyPhrase and run it on a specific page that I might be able to better explain what is happening. Basically, We appear to be no longer searchable by key words or phrases on google?
Here is an example:
Key Phrase: Free Services to Help Improve Your Photos on Canvas
Website: http://www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com/free-photo-canvas-retouching
Attached are some screen shots of the actual search results on Bing, Yahoo and Google along with the ranking tool results from SEOmoz and the on page grade for the key phrase.
Anybody got any Ideas? I am hurting; the internet and Google search is about 40% of by business. http://www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Bing-Free-Services.jpg http://www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Yahoo-Free-Services.jpg http://www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/Google-Free-Services.jpg http://www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/SEOmoz-Ranking.jpg http://www.getyourphotosoncanvas.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/05/SEOmoz-Report-Card.jpg [" target="_blank">iframe>](<iframe class=) Bing-Free-Services.jpg Yahoo-Free-Services.jpg Google-Free-Services.jpg SEOmoz-Ranking.jpg SEOmoz-Report-Card.jpg0
