Microdata and dinamic data.
-
Hi, everybody!
We're starting up a local services website in Brazil. Something like redbeacon.com or thumbtack.com, but obviously different.
So we are developing our 2.0 version of the site, and I want do put microdata in every provider's pages, to rank people's evaluation about this particular provider, and geographic information about him. Ok, we want to use microdata in several pages, but those are more important: the providers.
These data (geo and rank) will be dynamically generated from our database.
In Schema.org, I only found information about using static data to build microdata for my intentions.
My doubt is: does google and bing and yahoo and etc index dynamic generated data? Is there something about sitemaps.xml or robots.txt that I can do to have my data indexed on search engines? Our front-end is the guy who deal with html and our codemaster uses pure php for coding.
Thanks!

You can add them to teh sitemap, but they will be found if they have links, unless your site is huge.
I would add them to the sitemap if it is easy to do, but i would not loose sleep over it

That's all?
Just "don't worry about it"?
No sitemap changes, nothing?
-
Yes they index dynamic data, but try to keep the urls friendly, you can dynamicly generate microdata just like any other markup this should not be a problem

Can I data highlight pages that already have schema?
Hi all, I have pages with schema on but there are some gaps. Rather than ask my dev team / wait for the changes to be made, can I use the data highlighting tool in GSC to fill in these gaps? Will it let me add these and will Google generally consider both the schema and the highlighted data? To note, if I have used GSC to highlight data and then test it in Google's Structured Markup Test Tool it won't show so I understand it may be difficult to test whether it's working or not. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Structural data in google webmaster tools
Hey, During the year I have done everything in my power to please Google with my website. Instead of building links towards the page I have focused on content, content and content. In addition I have worked with https and page speed. Today my site is faster than 98% of all tested sites in Pingdom tools and have 94/83 in Google insights. Of course we have had to build some links as well, perhaps 50 links in 8 months. At the same time we have built 700 pages of text. The total amount of links build is 180 over 20 months. On Thursday last week it looks like the site was penalized by Google. I still believe that we can do something about it and get the site back on track again. Hence we have been looking at technical things on the site, if there is anything Google don't like. One thing that I have found is structural data. For some reason this has dropped from 875 a month ago to 3 today. I have no clue why. Does anyone know how structural data works and what can have caused this problem. Would it be possible that we in our attempt to optimize the site might have done something that may affect the structural data? http://imgur.com/a/vurB1 In that case, what affect might this drop in structural data mean for SEO. Could that be a reason for the total drop in ranking? (we have basically been wiped on all our keywords) What I can see in Google webmaster tool about 975 pages are still indexed in Google which has been stable for a long time. Does anyone know more about structural data and what I can do about this?

Keyword ranking verse all other data
Hi there I have just joined Moz so I am not sure if i am doing a good job of analysing all the data, but from what i can see i have a few questions: 1. I seem to have a fairly high visibility compared to a few other competitors 2. All the other competitors i am looking at have a much lower domain authority 3. I win the link metrics in all categories compared to my competitors 4. I have a page optimisation score of 94 5. I dont have any crawl issues (except that i just changed to https and i believe there is a synching issue with Moz and cloud flare..) YET I barely rank for any of the main keyword in my industry.... Kitchen, New Kitchen, Kitchen Renovation etc. I also have a page optimisation score of 94 for related keywords. I feel like i am really missing a big point and was hoping I could get your expert thoughts on this 🙂 Thanks so much! PS my domain is www.bluetea.com.au

Schema.org Data Appears on Website
Hello Moz World, I would like to incorporate Schema Data onto my website. My website has Meta tags in the of the document, which incorporates our keywords. And, in the footer, I have my businesses address, logo and other relevant information. Everything flows because it is stylized using CSS. When I input the schema.org data it appears on the website as text w/ a hyperlink. See Code: My Company

Phone: NUMBER I've tried to put it inside the head, body & footer of the HTML code. I want my website to show up properly through Google Structured Data Testing Tool however, I don't want the text to show up on my website not stylized. It sticks out like a soar thumb no matter where I incorporate it. My questions are; Should I even bother with Schema.org? And, is there a way to incorporate it into my website so it does not show up and Google can still pull it up? Thanks ahead of time for all of the awesome responses! B/R Will H.0 -
Benefits/drawbacks to different Schema markup languages (ie. JSON-LD, Microdata, RDFa)
Just a question (or questions) I have wondered about. What's the difference, besides the actual encoding, between the three? Why have three? Why not just the one? Seems to me that Microdata is the easiest, but maybe I am wrong. Is there a reason to use one versus another? I have not found anything explaining this on schema.org - I suppose this is just a discussion versus getting one right or wrong answer. I am just curious of the opinions of people in the SEO MOZ community. Unless of course there is one answer. I'll take that too.

Why Is Google Webmaster Tools Pulling Zero Keyword Data?
I just linked a Google Webmaster Tools account to Google Analytics for a client, and Search Engine Optimization reports are showing up in Google Analytics as enabled, but there is zero keyword data, landing page data, etc., in the reports themselves. Has anyone encountered this?
