OSE Problems
-
I'm experiencing severe delays trying to export OSE data into CSV over the past couple of days. Relatively small reports I ran 2 days ago are still pending!
Has anyone else noticed this?
Also my campaign rankings have not updated since 24th April - anyone else?
Logged with Moz Helpdesk but no reply as yet...

They were ironed out for quite some time, and just yesterday we started having some problems with the CSV export. We're working on it right now, though it may be a few days to get all of the backlog caught up and things back up to speed. It is currently taking a couple of days for reports to generate right now. We're in the process of adding an alert to OSE to let people know about this.

Just wondered if those bugs have been ironed out at all 19 months later - I can't believe the delay exporting to CSV, hours and hours waiting to download a report that took seconds to generate. Any update?

Thanks Alex! I'm liking it too.

Thanks Keri - I'll keep an eye out for it.

We do know about the delays. We have a blog post being written right now that outlines some of the known bugs that we have, and that should help explain everything. We know how frustrating this is, and apologize for that.

That was what I figured as well. I waited a bit before coming here to poke around and see if anything had been said.

Yes - me too. I suspect that yesterday's link scape update is causing issues, but it'd be good to know what's going on!
Might have to subscribe to Majestic

I've been having the same issue. I'm also now getting the "Ouch something went south" warning when trying to run search.

Why don't Google+ URL's work in OSE?
Is there any reason why Google+ URLs does not work in OSE? Is it just that it is a secure URL or is there something bigger there? Why? Be cool to determine every website the person has been published on; especially if it is rel="author" verified. Jeff

Two PR 5 websites, but little to no link data in OSE. How??
As the title states - We've recently developed two sites for clients - within the last 4 months or so. With the Google PR update, both sites are sitting as PR 5 sites. I've tried to have a look in the OSE for the backlink profile of both websites, but I see nothing. Even Majestic SEO's fresh index doesn't provide much info. The DA of each site is 11-16. I would really love to see what's generating the link juice to these sites. Any ideas? The two sites are: https://bfore.co.za

Are header directives such as X-Robots and Link supported by OSE/Linkscape/SEOMoz tools?
SEOMoz tool reports show lots of duplicate content where there are http header directives in place on pages to eliminate dupes. Googlebot obeys but Roger the robot doesn't. Are header directives such as X-Robots and Link (rel=canonical) supported by OSE/Linkscape? I'd like to put my mind and clients at ease. Thanks

Press Release - using moz bar/OSE is reading domain not page? How? Why?
A question posed by Christopher Glaeser from early today:low PA high DA, had a follow up response from him providing 2 urls from PR WEB for separate press releases: http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/11/prweb8923419.htm (HP White) On moz bar Page Analysis/Link Data = PA - 47 DA - 36 http://www.prweb.com/releases/2011/12/prweb9051351.htm (Golfer's Advice) On moz bar Page Analysis/Link Data = PA - 1 DA - 96 I kept scratching my head as to how a press release of 6 weeks ago had garnered such attention from a company that would not seem to have a huge traffic due to more obscure product offering and scientific subject (Analyses of Armor Industry versus Golf Advice).

Then I realized that for HP White, Link Data was not about the PR. The url from mozbar was HPWhite.com not the above, I did not notice until I used OSE where same thing was happening. When I cut and pasted the above press release url for HP White and placed it in OSE this changed: PA - 49 DA - 96 (2 links 2 linking root domains) For Golfers advice (0 links from 0 linking domains) Note to all: the links to the PR WEB release for the HP included a low end directory type link and a link from PR WEB (. For Golfer's Advice there was not a link back to the release from PR WEB: Note that Golfer's Advice is a newer release (6 weeks). So, any link from HPWhite release would equal more juice to HP White and PR Web and Vocus. Any link to Golfer's Advice from release offers......???? to Golfer's Advice and who cares to Vocus and PR Web. So, I guess this begs a couple of questions: Why the mozbar link analysis difference for one versus the other? Does PR Web treat some differently than others? Who benefits most from me paying a PR Web to do press releases for a client, PR Web and Vocus or my client and I???? I have tried to order the images to make sense: L to R top, then bottom is last. Looking for a tool that can pull OSE stats for a bulk amount of URLs
I know that people have developed inhouse tools with the OSE API that can analyze thousands of URLs and pull metrics like PA, inbound links, etc. I need to analyze about 80k URLs and sort them by authority and I was hoping that someone could point me to a tool that can do this or let me use their tool. I'm willing to pay for access to it. We could build it inhouse, I imagine that it would be pretty easy, but our IT resources are stretched too thin right now.
