Looking for a tool or service which does the following
-
Hello,
I wanted to ask if anybody knows a tool or website which does the following:
-
You enter your competitors URLs
-
the service will find websites which links to those URLs
-
the service will sort these by PageRank
Then you can contact these website owners and introduce your website as well and hope they'll link to you or write a blog post about you.
Regards,
Oliver

Tools for constant SERP monitoring?
Does anyone know of a tool where you enter in a [search term] and it constantly (or periodically) monitors the SERPs and reports back on the top results? IE- If you wanted to monitor for the term [trump] it would fetch that search result every hour or so and report those via an online interface or downloadable .csv

What tools can give reliable competitor traffic data?
Could you give details of reliable tools that can measure and provide competitors' traffic data? Google Adplanner used to provide such information until June of last year, and while it's numbers didn't match Google Analytics data, the numbers were reasonably close. The metrics we are most interested in are visits, page views and unique visitors. We have looked at sites such as Compete -- but feel it is far too inaccurate/ skewed with US data only; also, would prefer to not rely on Alexa traffic stats. Thanks in advance.

Why such a difference in external followed links details?
I love using seomoz and have done for a few years. I am no SEO expert, but like to think I can get away with making out I know what I'm on about! I use opensiteexplorer regualrly and usually enjoy delving deeper into it's metrics, but one thing is bothering me (before I start with this, please forgive me if I am missing something obvious - you may have to point it out in your answer!) So I run a comparison of a few sites and pay attention to the external followed links section. On checking this number at root domain level, company A has 12,666 external followed links. So I want to dig a little deeper as to the qulaity of those links and click along to the inbound links tab, here I select the following: "followed & 301" > "only external" > "all links to this root domain" > leaving the results ungrouped Downloading this table I only have results for 3,416 links - why such a big difference to the previous 12,666 or am I missing something here? Would just like a bit of clarification 🙂

No-follow value
While conducting competitive analysis and examining link profiles via OSE, one will generally see a portion of external inbound links possessing the "no follow" attribute. I am wondering what the latest general consensus is regarding whether or not these links contribute any link juice or page authority - enough to influence SERP positioning? Or contribute to domain authority? One of my client's competitors has several hundred more inbound links from external domains than we do. The majority of these are "no follow" links from pages of relatively low page authority, but the domain subject matter is quite relevant. The competitor's site generally ranks higher for similar key phrases. And so far, this is the only reason I can see ( I have examined and compared numerous factors ) which is allowing the competitor to outrank us. There is no doubt in my mind we have superior content and on-page SEO structure, so now I am looking at this purely from an off-page perspective to identify ranking factors. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Tool for finding what keywords a competitor ranks for?
Does anyone know of any good tools that display what keywords a competitor ranks for? I have many competitors that I know get a lot of traffic, but I'm not entirely sure where the traffic comes from so it would be nice to plug in their url and get a general overview of what keywords they rank for and what positions.
