Hi, i have a site that I optimized for the keyword "filme online gratis" witch is in romanian and im not satisfied whit the results because im just on page 2 place 4 in the google.ro... i was on the first page 2 moths ago and i dont know whats happend... i fall down in the google results dramaticly .. my website is filmeonlinenoi.com

lol, well... there's about a million and one reasons that could be

But I'd hazard a guess as the main reasons being the same keyword phrase spread though-out the site including in title tags, and the whacking great ad banner at the top of every page as soon as it loads

Get rid of the ad or move it, and focus on different keywords for different pages

Link Building Issue

Hi, While prospecting for backlinks target do you guys filter links less than a specific DA or PA? for instance - if PA<5 then remove
My VA accidentally selected a PA 3 link where the site owner eventually gave us a backlink.
Due to that link the traffic jumped 14X!!!
Had it been my filtering process would never got the backlink and traffic. What do you guys suggest?

1 Business 2 websites: NAP issue?

I'm taking on a client who has two websites, one for auto sales side and the other for auto repair. We're taking on the auto repair site. They both share the same business name, address and phone number. Do you foresee any NAP errors if we direct all the directories to the auto repair site?

Self-cannibalizing issue with category page

I am doing well with a category page and I just ran a report card and am having issues with self-cannibalizing. I have a signature at the bottom of each blog post that links to this category page because it is my MAIN category. So I changed the anchor text so it didn't have the exact same keyword but underneath each post, it shows all the categories that post belongs to. Usually it is at least 2. So should I change the name of the category page and then have the SEO title be for the keyword I am ranking well with? Or should I just self-cannibalize? Or should I not have all the categories show underneath each post? I was thinking that would help lower my bounce rate since it would lead them to another page that interests them. Edit: To be clear, all these links are linking to that very category page. So linking back to itself. They are not linking to a different page with the target keyword. Also I am worried about reducing internal linking power if the anchor text is not the keyword I am trying to rank with? Help appreciated!

Penguin issue or wrong linkbuilding strategy?

Quite a few month ago before Google implemented Penguin algorithm I had a great situation. After 24th of April my ranking and traffic dropped instantly. I would appreciate a professional advise on how my strategy, on-page optimisation can be improved. Potential internal links issue

From the competitive domain analysis, it looks like our site only has 1 internal link because there is only one more “total link” than “total external links”. However, I am quite sure that we have many more internal links on our site, including breadcrumbs throughout the product pages. What am I missing here? One other piece of potentially relevant information is that our URL changed about 6 weeks ago. Would this change be impacting the number of internal links that we are getting credit for on our site?

So I ran into a site that was not ranking 4 days ago and has over 2 million links to it on some keywords. My guess is this is a link bomb, but the issue is this is pushing one of my sites down. Does anyone know a good way to over come a bomb like this?

So I ran http://www.riogrande.com/ into this site not that long ago and wanted to see if any other SEO's have an opinion on it. I've seen a Google bomb before, but the amount of links going into this URL is insane. The thing is how does one over come a Google Bomb? Do you just wait to see what Google does or do you just hope to rank under that URL? I should also note that it appears that all the keywords to it are relevant to the sites content. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks

Online Journal (Magazine) -- Past Issues pages

We're hoping to restructure the Past Issues pages for the online version of our twice-monthly medical journal. Right now the Current Issue page (sort of a truncated table of contents) gets replaced twice each month, when a new issue is available. The current location of for our past issues page is shown below: Home Page > News & Journals > Journals > American Family Physician > Past Issues Under Past Issues, there is a page for each year. 2011 - 2010 - 2009 - etc (back to 1998). Is there an advantage to putting all of the Past Issues on a single page? This would be 24 issues per year, which is just over 250 links on a single page and it would grow by 24 each year. I'll attach a couple of screen shots of ideas I'm considering. One is an expandable navigation using jQuery for each year, listing all Past Issues on a single page. The other is making the links to the 3 most recent issues available in the left nav across all Past Issues pages. Do you have other suggestions for how we might structure this? cydxG.png PDXT9.png
