Attribution Modeling with Offline Variables

Is there a way to say with certainty, "Online marketing generated this sale," when you have a team of sales people and customer service people on the phones? If we can't get as close as to a single transaction, what other indicators can be used to show cause-and-effect that sales increased with online marketing efforts?
-
Unlike email campaigns and promotions where I can have a customized URL, my question deals with less trackable efforts. It's mainly about content creation and optimizing individual product pages. With these pages, people can do the following things:
1. Order the product directly on the product page
2. Look at the product page, call up sales for more questions, complete the transaction online.
3. Look at the product page, call up sales, and the sales department makes the order for them.
4. Call up sales, sales directs them to the page, customer looks at page and makes the order online.
5. Call up sales, sales directs them to the page, customer continues conversation with sales as customer looks at page, order done either online or directly by sales.
6. Order the product directly on the page, have some kind of complaint afterwards (not usually the case) and then customer service retains the sale.So the optimized page helped generate the sale in some form, but who gets the credit for the sale? Did the page generate enough information and was compelling enough for the customer to call up sales for further information? Would the customer have called up sales anyway if the page was not optimized? Did the customer call up sales because the page not optimized enough? If the optimized page made it an easy sale for the sales department, shouldn't online marketing get some of that credit - and by how much? Where can marketing measure its true monetary progress - at first touch, at last touch, or somewhere else?

Are all of your sales done over the phone? Or can customers make a purchase directly on your website or fill out a contact form on your site? Here are several suggestions -
1. Phone call tracking - use different phone numbers to track where the calls are coming from. There are tons of call tracking services out there but www.ifbyphone.com and www.mongoosemetrics.com come to mind.
2. Ecommerce tracking - This is completely dependent on whether or not your business sells products that can be purchased directly through the website. If so, make sure you are tracking these actions with an analytics tool, such as Google Analytics and set up multi-touch conversion tracking.
3. Lead tracking - This is similar to ecommerce tracking in that you can track where the leads are coming from. Usually lead gen sites will collect information through the website and then sales people follow up either via email or over the phone. Oftentimes there is a gap between online marketing and sales because most salesmen will want to take full credit for closing a deal over the phone when in all actuality, the online marketing team should get at least some credit if the initial lead was generated through the website. There is no perfect solution but I'd suggest using multi-touch attribution in Google Analytics in addition to some kind of integrated CRM which keeps track of all potential deals through every step in the pipeline.
If you're not looking for a full blown CRM or enterprise level marketing automation software, another possible solution is to consider trying Convertable, which is a simple lead tracking tool that provides multi-touch attribution for all leads generated through an online form (full disclosure - I am a co-founder of Convertable).
Feel free to update this thread with more information about how your business operates and I will try to provide some more detailed suggestions if necessary.

Hi Jess,
Has your site visitors increased since you started the online campaign? Take the average increase in offline sales pre-campaign over the average increase in offline sales post campaign. This should give you a rough estimate.
If you want more accurate conversion tracking, Use your sales team to collate data where the referral came, this can be done post sale over the phone or direct mail questionnaire posted with the product.
Hope this helps.

Issue for Sales Team & Funnelling Smaller Orders
Hi, Hoping somebody might have some suggestions for funnelling smaller orders and larger orders on different journeys. Basically, 90% of our business comes from 10% of customers with larger orders, like contractors and organisations who fill out leads or call us. But about 90% of the sales teams time is taken up from handling lots of smaller calls, which account for <5% of our revenue. Obviously we still want these smaller orders, but would anyone have any suggestions on moving these customers away from phone calls? We've tried to add as much content to the site as possible to answer they're questions, but they seem to just call anyway. Hope you can help!

We changed our domain, I used the move tool in Google Search Console and I am having our site redirected and go daddy, and now I spoke with someone who suggest we do a 301 redirect for all pages on our site and I’m not sure that’s the correct move.
We just changed our domain name after 15 years. when I bought the new domain name I called Go Daddy and they instructed me to contact my google G sweet admin account and change all of our emails over which I did and then I went into Shopify who is my host and changed my primary domain there and then I went back to Go Daddy and had my old website forwarded to my new site. since then there has been nothing but problems with Google. my product feed from my merchant center account has been suspended three or four times now, I tried to rename and move all of my Google accounts from my old domain to my new one, but I am not an SEO person... after making the changes I have started google chats with analytics department with the merchant center with Google as they all keep saying that it looks fine but I’m not convinced because the product feed keeps getting disapproved. So I posted an ad for help and the Guy I spoke with suggested I do a 301 redirect for every single page on my old site, But I’m concerned that might confuse things further? I’ve already started the move in Google Search console And in Shopify I added the old domain back into the domains section and am having it redirectEd that way too... I guess I’m just looking to know which way I should proceed, any and all advice is warmly welcome thank you in advance Maureen

Redirect Management on Headless Wordpress w/ React Front End
Hello everyone, As Headless Wordpress becomes more and more popular, it becomes more complicated to manage and track 301 redirects. I'm reaching out for advice on this. Our main issue right now, is that after migrating from Drupal to a Headless Wordpress/React platform we lost the ability to track, manage, and view traffic analytics for users hitting those redirects. This was something we were able to do in Drupal. Example: If we have a redirect in place we could see how many times in the past x number of days that redirect was hit by users attempting to access the old URL. Unfortunately, Yoast Premium, has been helpful with other SEO needs, but this is one that it is not able to manage. Anyone have any ideas, experience, or thoughts on this issue? Thanks for your time

Reducing Negative Impact of Webpage Login Form
Our real estate website (www.metro-manhattan.com) now requires visitors to login in if they want to search our listing database. The result is that. 9 out of 10 visitors leave without searching; they simply refuse to set up an account. I have attached images of the search bar and login form. Is there a way to increase the percentage of visitors that login? We have tried to make it as simple as possible, allowing visitors to login by Facebook, Google or by providing their email address. We do not send any verification email. We are forced to. keep this login unfortunately. But is there anything we can do to reduce the visitor bounce rate? Thanks,

Any good and advanced custom attribution model?
Does anyone of you has some good and advanced custom attribution model for sharing or some advanced use case? I have over 1000 campaigns per month from all sources and I don't know how optimise them? Most of my adwords campaigns have impressions share close to 100%.
