Please review page for on page SEO

I'm working on an adult dating site review blog and am hoping to build links to the category pages. It's a wordpress blog so the posts are categorised by topics. However can you tell me if there is enough content on the page for google to identify what the page is about? The problem is that the content of each category pages is pulled from the posts. What I think is needed is some static text on the page 2-300 words that use the keyword. Here's an example of a page targeting the keywords 'online dating'.

[editor's note -- thumbnails on site may not be appropriate for some workplaces]Will the page rank like this if there are a good amount of authorative links or does the page itself need work?

You could certainly do with more content on the page.
Problem is you want to maybe try to direct with your content that is currently above the fold. Also the format of the page is always an issue. Pushing down your dynamic content would probably never be seen by a user and Google will be able to read that with your bounce rates, time on website and overall clicking action from users once they land.
The key to good on-page seo is starting with the usability of the page first. This will help you to ensure your website content is perfectly balanced and higher up on the page to show importance.
Also include some H3s and break up your subjects and offer more brief but engaging content.
Currently only have 63 words. So you might want to push for 300+ words and keep your keyword density at 3%. Just divide how many times you use the keyword phrase online dating by the amount of words to determine if you are at best seo practice.
Your Title Tag has 37/60 characters max; this okay, might want to see if bump up a tad with something really organic or slogan with your keyword as far to the right of the title tag as possible
Your Meta Description 138/154 this is a descent range; just include a click to action. This is what will help users engage your website from the SERP results. Also try to offer something you can deliver so your click-to-action and on page conversion does not result into an immediate bounce. HEADLINES and delivery is vital here!
Your Meta Keyword 2/10 max. You can use 5 to 10 different keywords in this tag. Although this does not have much significance anymore; it can't hurt. Use each keyword once!
Hope this helps a bit.

Product Descriptions (SEO)
Hello, I sell products relating to wood. Although the products vary, I like to give description of the wood type for the customers who might not be familiar with it. Will it hurt my rankings to give the same descriptions for the same wood type as long as the majority of the description is different? Here is an example of the layout: 1. Different description for different products 2. The same short description for the same wood types (seen throughout multiple pages) Hopefully my question makes sense.

More important SEO
Hello, I was wondering where my time is most valuable. I have a linking tree as follows: Main Site > Product > Specific Product Is the Product page more important to add SEO or is the end deep linked page "specific product" more important? I'm ready to hear the answers of whatever gives a better customer experience and both... Thanks!

Listing all services on one page vs separate pages per service
My company offers several generalized categories with more specific services underneath each category. Currently the way it's structured is if you click "Voice" you get a full description of each voice service we offer. I have a feeling this is shooting us in the foot. Would it be better to have a general overview of the services we offer on the "Voice" page that then links to the specified service? The blurb about the service on the overview page would be unique, not taken from the actual specific service's page.

This page has dropped could really do with some advice please
Hi Everyone,
On-Page Optimization | | dashesndots
Quite a few pages on this site have dropped since the penguin 2.0 update. Unfortunately the backlinks seo has been done by a third party and I think the pages in question are sufferering from anchor text over optimisation but could really do with some opinions on this. I had quite a few backlinks from my own site to this site so i have removed them and I have also had a look at a directory site that was showing up and have requested removal. Is there anything else that is affecting this page - I have tweaked the content today and I get a ranking of A on the on page optimiser. http://www.cheapsnapframes.co.uk/pavement-signs.html Any help would be so much appreciated! I have a question about having to much content on a single page. Please help :)
I am working on a music related site. We are building a feature in our system to allow people to write information about songs on their playlist. So when a song is currently being played a user can read some cool facts or information about the song. http://imgur.com/5jFumPW ( screenshot). Some playlists have over 100 songs and could be completely random in genre and artist. I am wondering if some of these playlists have over 5,000 words of content if that is going to hurt us? We will be very strict about making sure its non spammy and good content. Also for the titles of the content is it bad to have over 100 h3 tags on one page? Just want to make sure we are on the right track. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Faq page
We are redoing our faq page and we were trying to decide on the best format. 1. Create each question on a separate page 2. Create one page with all the question and have the questions expand 3. Create different faq category pages (like 4) and divide the questions between them From my perspective #1 seems the best ---. you can create hyper relevant content for the user and optimize each question really well Any experience with this?

Is there a SEO penalty for multi links on same page going to same destination page?
Hi, Just a quick note. I hope you are able to assist. To cut a long story short, on the page below http://www.bookbluemountains.com.au/ -> Features Specials & Packages (middle column) we have 3 links per special going to the same page.

1. Header is linked
2. Click on image link - currently with a no follow
3. 'More info' under the description paragraph is linked too - currently with a no follow Two arguments are as follows:
1. The reason we do not follow all 3 links is to reduce too many links which may appear spammy to Google. 2. Counter argument:
The point above has some validity, However, using no follow is basically telling the search engines that the webmaster “does not trust or doesn’t take responsibility” for what is behind the link, something you don’t want to do within your own website. There is no penalty as such for having too many links, the search engines will generally not worry after a certain number.. nothing that would concern this business though. I would suggest changing the no follow links a.s.a.p. Could you please advise thoughts. Many thanks Dave Upton [long signature removed by staff]0 -
