Where Are My Listings??
-
Can someone please explain this to me? I'm not getting a ton of impressions organically on Google, but according to WMT many of my keywords are ranking number 1. This doesn't seem right and when I search they aren't there. This site is pretty new so I don't expect it to rank well yet for these competitive keywords. I am running AdWords, but according the help section, AdWords numbers are not included here. I attached a picture to this post. Does anyone know what's going on?

It's not just the "average position" that matters - total number of impressions is a critical consideration in understanding what's going on. When you've got less than 50 impressions, it means that your listing showed up in results less than 50 times, regardless of position (not all instances necessarily had a particular entry in the actual #1 position). It's not unusual for a new site or new content within an existing site to fluctuate in rankings.
Google has several algorithms - as one is run, a particular page might be placed in a certain ranking position temporarily. Then when another algorithm is run, the results could impact the original placement up or down. Over time, part of the process also includes Google varying placement in order to gauge reactions - if not enough people click on a listing in a certain ranked position, that will further impact results the next time a similar search is performed.
The key is to to focus on the longer-term experience and steadily build signals to reinforce "this page deserves to be ranked highly".

MOZ says I'm better, but google lists me lower
I have a competitor that is ranking higher for a keyword in Google. But when I look at the MOZ On-Page Grader I get an 'A' for the keyword and they get an 'F'. Then when I look at OSE and Compare Link Metrics, I rank significantly higher on every single metric except google +1's. Any idea as to why or where I should be looking as to why I'm ranking lower in actual search results? Keyword: Tiny House Trailers

Vender Hijacked our 7 Pack Listing
A dentist I work with contracted with a company called Z O C D O C (ZD). ZD ' S goal is to deliver patients to the dentist. To my surprise, ZD created a domain name called s t o n e b r i d g e d e n t a l t e x a s.com that forwards to the doctors ZD doctor page. (You can see the Google results listing by Google search: dentist mckinney tx or click this link http://imgur.com/liq05at) Apparently, ZD calls this their "kick start" program so basically ZD is redirecting traffic from what should have been the dentists 7 Pack listing (which would have gone to the dentist website) to the ZD's doctor page.

So now, the dentists 7 pack listing domain is owned by ZD but ZD has this hooked up to the doctors office address. Issues swimming inside my head: 1. Is there anything that can be done here? I can't really ask them to take their site down since they own it.
2. Even if ZD takes this site down, there is no guarantee the dentists website will replace the one that's in the 7 pack currently
3. I am pretty sure that the dentist site won't appear in the 7 pack because that would mean there would be two listings with the same address right?
4. As a side-issue, looks like Google removed the links to the Google-Plus pages? Not it only shows reviews. Any words of wisdome here? It would be nice that if when somebody clicked on the link to Stonebridge Dental that it would go to the dentist website, not ZD.. like it should be0 -
How long does it take for an article or a page to be listed by google
Hi, my question is a two parter. I think i must be doing something wrong. With my site map, it is set to show different section of my site while on my old site the site map listed every single article - i am not sure if setting it to each section is correct, can someone please advise me on this. The second part of the question is, how long does it take for an article to be listed by google. This article on my site was written today http://www.in2town.co.uk/lifestyle/holidaymakers-ignore-the-importance-of-travel-insurance-according-to-survey Holidaymakers Ignore The Importance of Travel Insurance According To Survey but when i check to see if google has listed the article yet by putting in the whole title, it does not come up, i even added the website name at the end and still it did not come up. This is worrying me a bit as a lot of my articles are news stories which means they are current articles so if google is not picking them up then no one else will be. can anyone let me know what i should be doing so google picks them up quicker please.

Multiple Google Places listings under review
I have a client with a waste removal business who had multiple listings on his Google Places account for different service locations. Over the last four months I have been creating separate listings for each separate service location, each under a different Google account and with a unique business name, address, phone number and website URL. They have all been verified by postcard and listed separately in local directories so that they have citations. As I have been creating the new listings I have also been deleted the old ones to make sure they are not flagged as duplicates. 2 months ago all the listings in the client's Google Places account were placed under review. I made some changes and submitted it for re-review but no go with Google. Now all the new listings I set up have also suddenly been placed under review. About a week ago I noticed that information in two separate Google Places listings was being mixed up - for example, the website URL for one listing was being shown in another listing. There is no connection between these two listings other than that they were both set up from the same IP address so this seems very strange. I reported this to Google and asked them to sort it out, then all of a sudden I found that ALL of the new listings had been placed under review. So now my client has no active listings at all. He can't afford to wait another 2 months for Google to review all the listings again so I am wondering whether the best course of action would just be to delete everything and start over. Any advice would be most welcome!

Google places listing gone crazy
I have a google places listing that was doing great and was consantly on the top 3 for most of it's keywords. About 3 weeks ago google declined my listing (it was on the same account with other listings that violated google guidelines). The listing still showed up on google while it being reviewed (i assumed that it because this listing didn't violate an guideline.) About a week ago google started showing reviews from Insiderpages with my listing that belonged to a competitor. Today, they fixed that and added a link to my right insiderpages page but weird things started to happen.... My listing started to appear as a NON VERIFIED liting. My website is no longer on the listing. The phone number listed on the listing belong to a competitor!! All the citations are still mine including one from my site! Should i report it to google? i'm hesitating to do so, we are loosing a lot of business as it is with most of our listings down and i'm afraid this might be a small error that if i'll address will take longer to solve. My listing link: http://maps.google.com/maps/place?um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=appliance+repair+nyc&fb=1&gl=us&hq=appliance+repair&hnear=0x89c24fa5d33f083b:0xc80b8f06e177fe62,New+York,+NY&cid=14321731230878083852&ei=01AXTum3J4mmsQKl_KxS&sa=X&oi=local_result&ct=placepage-link&resnum=9&ved=0CJ0BEOIJMAg Thanks!!
