In Competitive Link Comparison Top 5 contenders...
why would the landing page have an HTTP Status showing as Blocked by robots.txt when it is not blocked within the robots.txt file and no files are shown as blocked in Google's webmaster tools.
Sorr if I've ticked the incorrect topic categories

No problem, anytime.

Yes thanks.
I think I'll just mark this as answered.
Thanks again for looking
-
I checked it also, everything looks fine to me.

Thanks for your reply but this may have changed now as have modified the robots.txt. However, can't see why anything should change or why blocked in the first case.

Two PR 5 websites, but little to no link data in OSE. How??
As the title states - We've recently developed two sites for clients - within the last 4 months or so. With the Google PR update, both sites are sitting as PR 5 sites. I've tried to have a look in the OSE for the backlink profile of both websites, but I see nothing. Even Majestic SEO's fresh index doesn't provide much info. The DA of each site is 11-16. I would really love to see what's generating the link juice to these sites. Any ideas? The two sites are: https://bfore.co.za

Inbound Links Report Problem
While looking over my competitors inbound link report, they have a reported 5K inbound links. The first 20 listed inbound domains are things like UPS, and other sites that when I look at them, and the source file has no link to their domain at all??? So are they using some kind of Black Hat technique, or is SEOMoz not reporting properly? Help please.

Reg. internal followed links
Our site is new. So far we have a 534 pages. Our competitors have around 5000. I'm working on building more, but that's a lot of catching up. The report says we have only 174 internal followed links. Why is that? I have all links set in the site to be nofollow links, but not the inside links. I also have lots of landing pages, which are not added to the main menu, obviously. But the the main menu shows up on all landing pages. Just wondering if either the nofollow has anything to do with it or the landing pages set up, or the numbers are accurate. Any ideas? Thanks!

SEOmoz vs Google Webmaster Tools on incoming links
I'm working on basic SEO for http://queueassoc.com. Google has indexed the non-www verions of the pages and these are what the SERPS return SEOmoz toolbar shows that all of the incoming links juice goes to the www. versions of the pages, none to the non-www version. Yesterday I set up GWMT for the site, submitted a sitemap with the www version of the pages and set the default address to the www version. I had to verify both versions of the site in order to do this and in looking at the non-www version I saw that Google had all the incoming links there and none in the www.version, the opposite of what SEOmoz shows. Is this just because Google only has the non-www versions in its index? Will they show the links to the www version once they get them in the index? I'm worried about losing Google Page Rank value or SEOmoz DA by making this switch.

Competitive .edu Research via Open Site Explorer
I was using open site explorer and trying to figure out how my competitors are getting so many .edu links. Now I won't mention any names here but I am trying to figure out why almost all their links point to downloads of documents. Strange Links in OSE
Hey seomozers, The most recent Linkscape update has created some strange links to our domain. They are links which when I navigate to are download links, here is one example: http://mirror.centos.org/centos/4.9/updates/x86_64/headers/kernel-largesmp-0-2.6.9-89.0.25.EL.x86_64.hdr Now this links has nothing to do with our site and I can't see how it would count as a link to our domain, can anyone shed some light on why these types of links are being crawled as a link to our domain? Thanks Nigel
