Why did this website disappear from Google's SERPs?
-
For the first several months this website, WEBSITE, ranked well in Google for several local search terms like, "Columbia MO spinal decompression" and "Columbia, MO car accident therapy." Recently the website has completely disappeared from Google's SEPRs. It does not even exist when I copy and paste full paragraphs into Google's search bar. The website still ranks fine in Bing and Yahoo, but something happened that caused it to be removed from Google.
Beside for optimizing the meta data, adding headers, alt tags, and all of the typical on-page SEO stuff, we did create a guest post for a relevant, local blog. Here is the post: Guest Post. The post's content is 100% unique. I realize the post has way to many internal/external links, which we definitely did not recommend, but can anyone find a reason why this website was removed from Google's SERPs? And possibly how we should go about getting it back into Google's SERPs?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Thanks for checking this out Francisco. Per your suggestion and after a little research, we actually went through today and removed our signature from all of the websites we manage. It is a tough pill to swallow since it seems like almost every design firm does this, but we want to do it right. And you are 100% correct, the footer link to the design firm's website is not best for SEO or the client, which is always our first priority.
Thank you again for your response.

You have to stay updated on penguin.
You have a sitewide footer link pointing to http://www.prokellseo.com/
I wouldn't risk external link in the footer even if it is an exact match domain.
There are many factors that can make a website lose rankings. We don't know what it could be with the information you provided.
Maybe you need more content on the home page, it only has 6 sentences.
Check out your GWT to see what you can uncover.

How long will old pages stay in Google's cache index. We have a new site that is two months old but we are seeing old pages even though we used 301 redirects.
Two months ago we launched a new website (same domain) and implemented 301 re-directs for all of the pages. Two months later we are still seeing old pages in Google's cache index. So how long should I tell the client this should take for them all to be removed in search?

How does educational organization schema interact with Google's knowledge graph?
Hi there! I was just wondering if the granular options of the Organization schema, like Educational Organization (http://schema.org/EducationalOrganization) and CollegeOrUniversity (http://schema.org/CollegeOrUniversity) schema work the same when it comes to pulling data into the knowledge graph. I've typically always used the Organization schema for customers but was wondering if there are any drawbacks for going deep into the hierarchy of schema. Cheers 😄

Acceptable use of availability attribute 'preorder' value in rich snippets schema markup and Google Shopping feed?
Hello all, Could someone please advise on acceptable use of the availability attribute 'preorder' value in rich snippets schema markup for our websites and the Google Shopping feed? Currently all of our products are either 'in stock' or 'out of stock', also mentioned was 'available for order' but I found that in the 2014 Google Shopping update, this value will be merged with 'in stock' here 'We are simplifying the ‘availability’ attribute by merging ‘in stock’ with ‘available for order’ and removing ‘available for order’. The products which we would like to mark as 'preorder' have been in stock and then sold out, however we have a due date for when they will come back into stock, so therefore the customer can preorder the product on our website i.e. pay in advance to secure their purchase and then they are provided with a due date for the products. Is this the correct use of the 'preorder' value, or does the product literally have to never have been released before? The guidance we have is: 'You are taking orders for this product, but it’s not yet been released.' Is this set in stone? Many thanks in advance and kind regards.

How can I get a list of every url of a site in Google's index?
I work on a site that has almost 20,000 urls in its site map. Google WMT claims 28,000 indexed and a search on Google shows 33,000. I'd like to find what the difference is. Is there a way to get an excel sheet with every url Google has indexed for a site? Thanks... Mike

What's the best way to check Google search results for all pages NOT linking to a domain?
I need to do a bit of link reclamation for some brand terms. From the little bit of searching I've done, there appear to be several thousand pages that meet the criteria, but I can already tell it's going to be impossible or extremely inefficient to save them all manually. Ideally, I need an exported list of all the pages mentioning brand terms not linking to my domain, and then I'll import them into BuzzStream for a link campaign. Anybody have any ideas about how to do that? Thanks! Jon

What's your daily SEO checklist?
First thing every morning I login to Google Webmaster tools looking for any errors, review data, sites linking to us, etc. I then login to Google Analytics and SEOMOz to check traffic to our terms to see if there have been any changes that need to be addressed. What's your daily checklist?

Website disappears from SE on a daily basis - comes back fine.
Our main website is Top 10 SERP with google.co.uk for photocopier and photocopiers. Every morning we disappear from SERPs for Photocopiers, while Photocopier is doing fine. Several people were able to duplicate the following issue: 1. Google.co.uk -> search photocopier -> we rank Top10 2. Google.co.uk -> search photocopiers -> we do not rank in top 100 3. Click on our website from the photocopier search results 4. Google.co.uk -> search photocopiers again -> we rank Top10 (which is what we usually get. After I do this once, the problem goes away.) Results are consistent with me using a proxy service, or being logged in / out of my Google account. Note that SEO Moz keyword history does not show anything special with these two. My link profile is practically the same and I am certain we are not experiencing the Google dance. Has anyone been experiencing something similar? The problem happens in the morning just before regular working hours and while night traffic is low, it is by no means zero. There is one known issue, as every now and again we are unable to access our website externally. Either our web server or the DNS server gets lazy and enters a state similar to power saving mode. As soon as someone gets a remote desktop connection going, it is back up. Since we are updating our website more often, I fear that we get crawled more often and Google might record these hicups. Still, external website monitoring tools say we have 100% uptime 😞 Any ideas would be appreciated.
