Link building external trusted help out there?
-
Hi there guys and Girls,
I am a newbie to the seo world but learning quickly. Unhappy with seo services offered for startups I have taken on the role myself for my website. I think so much of what can be learnt online here I can implement myself with a few hours of work each week. So my dilemma! I have lots of ideas of for content which i know will be valuable and I was considering outsourcing just for link building (the long haul work) The trouble is I am wary of who to use and if such service is out there? I have tried searching on o'desk and freelancer etc but I guess i am too frightened of spammy links or postings on irrelevant sites.
I guess initially I am looking for someone who can help my link building campaign whilst I build up my own blogging contacts etc. Does anyone know if these types of services exist? and if any are recommended for small companies?
Thanks
Michelle

Thanks Masoko,
Great advice, would you be willing to share a freelancer recommendation to me via private message? Always good to get a recommendation of someone with first hand experience

Greetings
I agree with you, freelancing sites like odesk or elance can be a bit of a jungle.
Here´s what I've done when I've needed a freelancer from those sites:
- Browse the list of Freelancers, use the site's filters to select freelancers that have high rankings in areas that you need.
- Contact the freelancers directly, do not to post an open ad because you will be flooded by low quality offers.
- Ask your potential freelancers about their experiences in projects such as yours, see if they ask questions about your site and your project. the best freelancers usually ask good questions.
- Finally, I would advise that you start small, give a specific linkbuilding assignment to the 2 or 3 freelancers you like the most, for example: "create 5 or 6 links from a site with x PR or in Y industry" and see what they deliver, this way you can determine what the quality level of the freelancer is before committing to a long term (and potentially expensive) partnership.
Good Luck
Masoko

How do I find and can I trust link building companies
I'm finding it hard to build quality links. I don't want to employ a link building company as I can't find anyone I can trust. I also don't know what is a realistic rate of pay for link building work.

External linking on a company blog
This has been bothering me for a long time. Our company has a sub-domain blog that gets a respectable amount of traffic but not a lot of SER. Most of our traffic comes from social shares (although we do rank really high for a few key searches). The blog manager is convinced that providing external links to additional resources or source material "dilutes the SEO juice" for the blog. URLs are provided, but they aren't linked. Attempts to sway her to the idea that external links are actually Good Things® have been stonewalled. Tell me I'm right and why.

How fast is too fast when it comes to link building?
I'm getting ready to start a massive link building campaign. I plan on using a variety of anchor texts, getting links from a variety of sources, and only getting high quality links from relevant sites. My main concern is getting penalized for gaining too many links too quickly. Does anyone have any advice on how fast is too fast? Or how much is too much in a certain amount of time? Thanks!

Do incoming affiliate links help with SEO?
Quick question: If my affiliates promote an ebook via an e-junkie affiliate link that points to a sales page on my domain, will I get any SEO benefit from the links? Will Google see that the e-Junkie affiliate link 'hops' through to my domain name? i.e. Affiliate's website --> eJunkie link --> ebook landing page on my domain Thanks for your advice! Ian

My concern is that, Can we create external links from different subject website or specific to subject oriented website? Is there any specific method which help me to understand more about external website and help me to take decision about link building?

Hiring a Company for Link Building
I am considering hiring a company to help develop link building for our websites. It is just too time intensive for me and I would like someone with experience to do it. So. . .what are the things I should ask of this company to make sure they know what they are doing and will do it in an ethical manner? What are some things I should make sure that they will NOT do with the links? Any guidance you have on what I should tell the company would be helpful.
